Episode 4: Sugar Grove (East I-88/IL-56 East-West / Ronald Reagan Memorial Tollway Original Route)

Here we cover the original route of the East-West Tollway (now Ronald Reagan Memorial Tollway) in the suburbs of Chicago, IL. We start from the original western terminus in Sugar Grove, IL at U.S. 30, up the free IL-56 spur, and east on present I-88 to its Eastern Terminus at I-290, the Eisenhower Expressway. A bonus feature will be an eastbound presentation of the Hillside Interchange.

I have lived just off 88, near Elmhurst, for fifty years. They have really changed the old "road to nowhere." I remember when it was grass median in Oak Brook, and the Toll Authority had their Headquarters there for years. I miss the old days of twenty-five cent tolls........

I live near the Aurora Toll Plaza, and it's not just Interstate 88, it's also CKC Illinois Route 110, Chicago-Kansas City Expressway

Mi espanol no es bueno, pero creo que comprendo que te dice. El nombre "New Blue Productions" no es para los efectos de "New Blue FX" (solamente una semana despues de crear este nombre, he encontrado que este nombre tambien esta en el mundo de video!). El nombre "New Blue Productions" es para el color de mi coche haha.

Same thing happened to WI-15 which became I-43 around that same time. It was a rather pointless rule but non interstate freeways couldn't have a 65 speed limit.
