Turnigy Trackstar Turbo 120A ESC Review

This is a quick video of my Turnigy trackstar turbo speed controller 120 amp. Just going over the turbo and boost features. Car: Team C TC02 Evo
Radio: Spektrum DX4R Pro
Motor: Turnigy Trackstar 10.5
*Update 1/06/2015* This same ESC has been in 3 different buggies and a short course truck and is still running with no issues. Got it in my RC10 B5 heading down to small indoor track in Louisiana this weekend.

I got this esc as well. Very smooth and powerful. The only problem is the brake strength, have to set to 100% else it just won't work.

I use it for oval racing. Just learning how the turbo/ boost works. What would the settings be to get it to kick in in the lower rpm range ? To get the boost. Out of the turn going down the straightaway

Please make a video of the setup, it would be awesome if you could explain that. I mean the setupand programming. I think Hobbyking stuff never comes with manuals and some people, like myself, may find it tricky.

Do you have any tuning advice for the boost & turbo setup ? I just got the 1/8 scale 150 amp version of this esc . I'm more into speed runs & some track racing , i really want to get it dialed in for a speed run or two before the weather turns too cold. Thanks.

Yo man nice vid. I just got a tekin rs gen2 17.5 combo for my short course. Just built a tlr 22t, not really looking to spend the money on another tekin just yet. May go with this or the 120amp gen 2

I've used this same ESC in my RC10B5, indoor and outdoor all year. Now it's in my 2wd SCT still going strong without a single problem. I'm going to order two more for this winter indoor season.
