Horton Plains Camping | Stephi LK

We camped at Horton Plains National Park in February 2021. National Park have 3 camping sites where you can book visiting Wild Life department in Battaramulla Colombo. We selected the campsite 01 because of the privacy and it's not closer to the worlds end trail. Camping in Horton Plains comes with it's own challenges. Number one being the freezing temperatures. I highly recommend to bring proper clothes and sleep ware as it get really cold during nights.
Good tent and essential camping gear is a must and it's prohibited to lit camp fire so you will have to bring your own cooker to prepare food.
There are lots of activities to do here.
- Worlds End trail 9.5 Km. You can visit Baker's fall, Worlds End, Mini Worlds End attractions along your trail.
- Kirigalpotta Hike 14 Km round trip. You can check my next video for in-depth details
- Thotupola Kanda Hike
