    This reminded me of the "Bush Guy" that use to hide behind a small cutting on the sidewalks of Fisherman's wharf in San Francisco and scare the passer-by. It was amazing how many people would unknowingly stroll by and he would pop out and scare them. Every person laughed it off. He passed away a few years ago, but I believe there are still you tube videos of him.

    “Learn to be still” wise words from a very wise man. I remember my father always telling me to listen, that God gave me 2 ears and 1 mouth for a reason. That lesson has paid its dividends in my short 38 years of life. I will carry Phil’s words with me as well. I will learn to be still. Phil, you’re truly a blessing. Thanks for all you do.

    From man that was born into so much chaos and uncertainty, but eventually finding the tools that was placed in front of him he came to a place in time that he's fully surrendered and today I am a new man a new creation in Christ and I don't have to dabble in the old ways but be part of the new Kingdom the everlasting life. That's how we hide in plain by becoming more christ-like and using those tools that God placed in plain sight.
    God bless you brother Phil, you're an inspiration to a man that was broken and lost.

We ducked off the trail maybe 6 feet and they decided to stop and chat about the mud hole they just ripped through. They got off their quads right in front of us. I had this sudden urge to jump out of the bush screaming like a mad man but It felt good to be hidden.

  • @Donuts_random_stuff
    @Donuts_random_stuff ปีที่แล้ว

    I don’t know if it has to do with me being fascinated by camouflage for the last 5-6 years or just him making a stupid mistake
    But in the beginning I spotted him almost immediately because of the dark round(ish) shape standing out pretty hard
    I mean the color did match the fallen tree but a tree isn’t a round head sized shape between bright green leafs
    Also I will admit, if your not looking for someone being camouflaged you indeed will walk right passed him.
    That’s the reason that hunters and wildlife photographers have it pretty easy to blend in, an animal isn’t looking for a predator like humans but it’s smelling and listening for it because if they have to wait to spot it, it’s to late
    But if your in the military and your enemy is looking for disturbances in the environment, this dude would be found pretty easily. Especially bye professional snipers because there trained to look for the invisible
    Also the human brain is wired to see human faces and silhouettes so that’s what you have to break off, black paint alone ain’t doing it and you have to break up your silhouette
    Especially the top of your body: your head, neck, shoulders and torso are the most recognisable part of your body, everything waist up is most likely to give you away
    This dude will be able to teach people how to hide from an animal or an unsuspecting person but he doesn’t doesn’t disappear

    • @c2s2942
      @c2s2942 ปีที่แล้ว

      Shocker: he’s a hunter, not a seal or delta guy.

    • @Donuts_random_stuff
      @Donuts_random_stuff ปีที่แล้ว

      @@c2s2942 so, that’s not an excuse to pretend you know how to camouflage, fine he can hide himself from deer, but fun fact deer are color blind. And the way he stands behind the bush in the video thinking none of the viewers would see him just shows that he thinks he’s actually camouflage for everyone.
      Everyone who knows about camouflage knows how to spot him and knows what he does wrong.
      If you rely on inexperienced people to tell you your good at something that means you’re not good at that thing, you’re only good at something if professionals and experienced people tell you your good at it.
      And by making a TH-cam video where you are hiding behind a bush in a way that inexperienced people won’t see you because they don’t know what to look for you don’t prove your credibility.
      He isn’t bad at camouflaging but if this is the best of his ability that means he isn’t good at it either, he is just as good as an average hunter so he can hide in a bush but if someone experienced looks for him he’ll be found pretty quickly
      Also the title is “how to hide so they’ll never spot you” a lot of animals can spot him and everyone with experience as well so the title implies that he thinks he is actually good at it while he’s at best average
