Thanks Rebecca, Yes! that makes much more sense now. I was aware that some of the translation in this video might be a bit iffy. I'm not familiar with mainland Mandarin slang or phrases. There are two in particular where I guessed the meaning. @0:07, Google says it's "break the bureau or bureaucracy"?... But because of Han's overly dramatic reaction, I used "break the system." Also @4:53, it sounded like Han was at his "granny's house"? It seems strange because they're in Beijing, not Harbin, so I used "at his friend's house". Anyway, I'll fix the error at 4:06 and wait for your edits. Cheers.

Her story behind this term is that when she awared that Han is super nervous before the game, she would cry to draw his attention so he won't feel that nervous. Han is being dramatic because Wenjing is so into the "writing book" things, that she already thinks about the second book while the first isn't out there yet. Also it reminds people of a well-known(like literally everyone born before 00s knows it) Chinese Short Play by Zhao Benshan and Song Dandan, Cong even liked a fans' edit of this clip combined with that short play in Weibo. That's an inside joke hhh.

Often in pairs skating we see giant on ice with dwarf (sorry meant "closed to" giant and dwarf). Nobody laughs about their big difference in height between male and female. Then why should anybody give negative comment on this China pair when their height difference 20 cm is in such good proportion ? ISU should set a regulation for height difference between male and female to avoid giants and dwarfs trying to make lifting much easier which not fair 🤔
@@AnaGarcia-bb7qj Tessa and Scott are ice dancers, these guys are pairs skaters, and that comment was talking about the height difference between PAIRS skaters, since most pairs skaters have a big height difference to make the over head lifts possible. Ice dancers don’t need such height difference because they aren’t doing over head lifts or throws or twists
