Hey so i was looking at BC racing BR series coilovers for my 96 miata and they can be lowered and you can adjust the spring compression and they come with camber plates for 1k (all four) do you think that is good for a starting suspension, i found them on enjukus site so im assuming they are reliable but yall seem the be the experts.

Been 2 weeks now. BC's on our daily GTI. Lovin' it ... One little ooops before Alignment. You always set the ride height just a tick higher and put a few miles on cuz you know it's going settle. Settled a bit too much and.......the front fenders showed the new Michelins some love.
Quin Morris Absolutely. I run BC on my Kouki s14 for getting wild, 03 WRX for auto x and also my 97 Dinan Stage 2 e36 M3. I approve of BC all day long.
People need to be realistic about how they use their car. Everyone thinks they want to daily a race car until they try it. My S13 was built for drift/track duty and Then the track on Oahu closed and my car was un useable on the street. because it was gutted. Non reclinable seat, straight piped, I tore out the working ac and stereo. If I kept the interior, the ac and stereo I could’ve had a 380hp street car. But I had a 380hp tin can. So I had to sell it at a huge loss. If you use your car on the street most of the time, get streetable suspension.
That's pretty close to what I daily. Stripped, no stereo, no AC and straight piped. Had buckets but the stock seats are in until I get my cage built and in. I have 0 issues driving it daily and it's actually a lot of fun.
I enjoyed it for a few years too! I loved my car and everything about it. But summers without ac, got old. Pulling up somewhere and releasing my harness and popping out my steering wheel just to get out of my car felt kinda douchey for a daily driver.. as I got older, had a wife and daughter, my needs changed. Don’t get me wrong though, I do miss that car. Just not as a daily!

I have silvers neomax on my 2013 STI, and was the first to have them on this generation WRX/STI in the US. Got them through a special friend who imported them specially for me for testing and promotional use. They are the best coils I've ever used. Been running them year round in Michigan for over 2 years now. I have bc on my 04 fxt and they are blown and were when I bought the car no comment. My old 05 Acura rsx type s has/had progress coils on it and they sucked for daily use but track use they held their own. Never skipped a beat when cornering, accelerating or braking. I installed ksport on my friends daily Acura TL, he loves them. I wouldn't track them but for Michigan roads and the low low they are great.

Best coilovers I've ever had are Raceworks 172SE. They're like 2 grand but they're the best on the market. Comes with Eibach Race Springs, full nickel plated, fully adjustable, pillow ball shocks and more. They're insanely good and come fully assembled

I had them when they were ISIS, and they're solid, but they're pricey as well. I remember i got mines for like 850 bux. On the street They cost an arm and a leg. They are good had them on my 350z. I would have bought them again but im trying to build a build on a budget now.
@@NewYorkBattleCat I paid pretty much 1k and for the level of adjustment, custom valving options, damping and compression adjustment with 32 levels front and rear with thrust bearings and camber plates included I didn't see much out there for the price that gave me so much! It's like driving a go kart I LOVE them on 20 (out of 1-32) stiff front and rear!
The QC of the coils is the key. From the correct graded spring steel to the correct heat treat otherwise graded steel is steel. The real deal factor is the supplier and if he gives you what you ordered, AND your QC department. Eibach makes coils for a LOT of people and they have the coil machine.

I plan to add coil overs to a Toyota 86 in the future for wheel clearance and I understand there will naturally be a lowered ride due to the nature of coil overs vs stock. The question I’m asking is if I install coil overs SHOULD I go ahead and install adjustable rear and front end links, thank you all. To get a better picture in mind I play to want to add tein flex a coil overs with 18x9.5 option lab and Michelin ss 245/35/18. Not trying to run a stanced look, just adding coilovers for clearance. I’m looking for street/track setup adjustable dampening with the camber adjustment on it too. I want to spend the money with a company that spent there money or research and development, and made well. Any suggestions on what company to research before I pull the trigger on the function and form? Thanks in advance.
