Hi guys! Brilliant video as always! Finishing converting my tbg11 to an overland, can you suggest which spares do you take with you for such long journeys?
Hi Thanks :-) That’s always a hard decision, usually the spares you bring is not the things that breaks! But here is some of the parts: Assortment of different electric wires. Different hoses Tire tubes Spare radiator fan Brake cylinder Brake shoes Bulbs Bolts & nuts Pieces of metal Duct tape Fuses Glue Rubber boot for the front CV joint Glow plugs Diesel pressure pipes Alternator belt - So its mostly generic stuff :-) Fortunately the Volvo has been very reliable, most problems has been electrical due to running 12V/24V/230V systems together.
@@tth0313 wow, thats a quick reply considering we are on TH-cam. Cheers for that! Thank you for sharing and keep us updated with your traveling, please

Thats a political discussion, and I do not have enough knowledge about the situation - so I have changed the name of the video :-) - all though this is only a small part of Africa :-)
Finally we finished working on our video from the whole trip: 17 countries, 16.000 km in the Volvo :-)

Is this the petrol version or did you convert it to diesel? If petrol it must eat fuel i guess.
It is converted to Mercedes diesel :-)
How did the C304 coop with the temperature in the desert?
Fine, no problems at all - but we drowe on a soft beach where we had to let it cool down a few times, as the engine worked very hard.
