I enjoy her segments very much! I like her top 5 favorite artist bass line segments such as Steely Dan (Chuck Rainey), Police (Sting) etc. Flawless execution and excellent presentation skills! Top that all off with a very enjoyable personality. Quite a person!

For now I'm just a spectator and observer of this channel and don't have much to say right now, but maybe one day I'll have some meaningful comment. 😀But I have to say that it is really beautiful to be able to play the bass. I mean actually being able to play FOR REAL. I was also very attracted to it when I was young, I really like it, love music very much, tried it and took lessons, but in the end other interests and hobbies won. I understand that being really good at something in life takes a lot of time, honesty, and diligence, so maybe I'll attend to that in my next life. 😀I just love to listening and watching. I found these videos a few years ago and I've been so inspired by Julia playing some of my all-time favorite songs and groovy new tunes and talking about music and bass. Last week I got my first own bass delivered from Thomann and I absolutely love it. Playing with a proper bass is so much more fun than using a normal guitar and finally the slaps and pops sound as they should. Now I'm going to rewatch the videos and learn some songs! Thank you so much, Julia, for these years, and I hope there are many more to come.
