WOW this is slick & dangerous - and great fit with the Von Hennig study wise. Also, I always get annoyed with the Scandinavian because of not having a solid plan to implement . But using the Von Popiel against it looks really fun! All three of these have similar attacking and checkmating ideas. Really good content!!!
It is always a pleasure to watch your videos. I am learning a lot. Thanks for everything. You are talented, energetic, and exciting. You will die for your ideas on the chessboard. You even challenged Stockfish and Mittens, just to prove your point. Can you get me one of those gambit shades? Laugh!
I'd like to see William Graif compete against Jonathan Schrantz - not at chess, but to find out who is better at looking shocked. It would be close - both are super GM level when it comes to looking shocked. Great content though! I love these gambit videos
There are a few good variations like this one that I should be studying. I often draw a blank when faced with the French. I play 1.e4 e6 2.Qe2 just for laughs but I'm not sure if it's a sound opening. It's called the Chigorin variation so I'm guessing it's gotta be good.
1. e4 e6 2. d4 d5 3. Be3 dxe4 4. f3 c5 I think 4...c5 is a great move for black, almost forcing a queen trade and giving a decent position 1. e4 e6 2. d4 d5 3. Be3 dxe4 4. Nd2 Nf6 5. c3 b6 6. g3 Be7 7. Bg2 4.Nd2 can be an alternative

this happen s a lot in different versions of the Blackmar Diemer especially euwe variation
The line I learned from a book by Schiller is e4e6 d4d5 Be3de4 Nd2 Nf6 f3... I wonder what difference this makes... ⁉️
Yup! But here’s why I recommend fxe4 instead of Nd2 :) th-cam.com/video/gHIjmcM8ck4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=UMzDRy9SFMuEO90z
@@GambitMan I've watched that video... But your comment does not make sense.
You are playing 4f3... But I'm asking about 4Nd2Nf6 5f3.
@@shanelawson5072 yes, I instead recommend immediate f3 so that if Nf6 we can then play fxe4 instead of nd2

Laughing at whatever list in the bottom right corner is topped by "GM BALLSAC"
What if black attack bishop with Ng4 instead of Be7
look into the diemer duhm gambit
I haven’t had success with this gambit. I’m at 2000 on lichess.
At first me too but you musnt play for cheap tricks in this gambit its very important to understand that it is about long term attack
I reckon, like many gambits it depends on your opponent not knowing the theory.
Against the french, have you looked into the Deimer-Duhm gambit? - or is that a 1 trick pony?
Bright lipstick
Love this gambit! Would love to see more analysis :)
