He also opens up about the terrifying moment his plane skid off the runway earlier this summer after being forced to make an emergency landing. Gabriel describes what burnout feels like for him and how he copes with it, his addiction to social media, his recent lifestyle changes, and using the stage as his therapy. He shares his take on artificial intelligence and what it means for performers, why he believes aliens exist, and how performing at smaller venues allowed him to fall back in love with comedy. Thanks for bringing back Fluffy/Gabriel Iglesias. I agree his comedy is just addicting and so unique that he can combine story telling with voice impersonations, and sound effects/emotions. I love all the impersonations that he does, many of them are so realistic like Chris Rock and Snoop Dogg 😁

Steve-O’s podcasts are good too… different vibe but another that keeps your attention all the way thru because they TALK to (not AT) the guests and lets them talk too, while LISTENING! It’s an important thing that not many get or know how to do successfully like these guys

I've always said comedians are the smartest people. They see things that most of us just don't see.
One time I was on a message board and a book was being discussed . I knew about the book having studied humanities , but I’d never read the book .
I said that I had studied the book but never read it and this guy lost his mind ! He said no one studies books they haven’t read !
I thought I’d die laughing of course .
I asked him Do you think English teachers have read All of the books they’re teaching about ?
It was such an obvious thing but clearly he’d never thought of it that way .
I think it’s similar . They train their mind to notice .

I didn’t remember hearing about him in a potential plan crash - wow, that must’ve been terrifying! I really enjoyed the way Mayim was curious but also very respectful in asking about that particularly traumatic experience.

How is this man single, he is funny, kind, giving and handsome.
Bc, as an overweight person, I can tell you that many people in the US seem to feel that bias against fat people is justified. And never give you a chance/second look
And also really busy, often on the road, overweight for some ppl taste. He likes dog but not everyone wants to have one around, some others might be super stressed or fearful of his big personality.
Being single is not a curse, maybe it's a choice or he just haven't met THE right person for him.. I trust he knows better about what he wants or need than anyone else.
If you feel you're the one for him, act upon it and ask him, the worse he can do is say no after all...😉
@LindaC616 is because society created this way of thinking. My father made sure race, culture, or appearance was overlooked for character, kindness, and inner strength. These are the qualities that you look for in a mate or friend, for they are long-lasting.

It seems to me that Gabriel manage pretty well to find the humor in new situations and this is one of his great quality. Makes him relatable and definitely is a form of work ethic I try to emulate in my own life.
Being funny is a skill like any others, the more you practice and refine it over time, the better you get. Nobody is a Pro at more than a few things, cause we all have to work on other skills and have different priorities.
Be it acting, accounting, teaching, stand-up comedy, sport, neurosurgery, buisness, therapy or any other field, nobody has the time in their short life to become excellent at everything.
"It takes a thousand attempts at something to start understanding it, a lifetime to master it" (can't remember where I learned that and I probably butchered the original quote)
Some of the stuff you 3 said is conflicting with my own views, and knowing that I know nothing in the grand scheme of things, I respect them nonetheless. I'm always fascinated by the process that goes in some statement different people makes. How they got to thinking about a subject, what facts they had to work with, when it started to resonate with em, who they discussed it with before, how do they feel about other views.
It helps me a lot on reflecting on my own process and how they might be perceived by different people and how I perceive others.

My theory is this: even if billions did share my views, it's still just a small fraction of everyone alive or that will ever live after. On this dust grain among billions of others in this Verse, be it Uni or Multi, across all the dimensions I can grasp or can't even know about. Being Human, I am limited in so many ways, and everyone else is the same. We all live in our own Universe, shaped by we are willing to accept as true and everyone can make a mistake and can change their mind at some point.
Openly sharing and discussing those views is a step toward a more cohesive World.
I'm sure I'm not right about everything or even most things, I don't think it's sane to believe any singular entity is. But if more people discuss and connect ideas, the faster societies and the whole Humanity will be at peace and progress to the next stage.
Less than a few millions years ago our genus wasn't even a thing, but nowadays we could glass the whole planet in nuclear fire in some Wolrd War. Or be instantly vaporised by something big and fast enough like a big chunk of rock or distant gamma ray burst or some godlike entity, pick you apocalyptic scenario of choice.
Thinking about this stuff too much is sometimes making me feel insignificantly small, but it also helps me get grounded with the fact that only the Here and Now ultimately matters. I can't change the past, others or the Verse, but I can change myself. Trying to be better than yesterdy is the most concrete thing I can do in the time I have.
Nobody can't possibly have a real, global and perpetual impact on everything, nor should they. But maybe in some small way, to some other being somewhere, my views might help at least a handful and that's enough for me. Who knows?
We can agree to disagree on anything, but respect has to be given to discuss freely. We all do better by understanding each than by shutting down new ideas beause they are not immediately comfortable.
"I don't know...but I'd like to!" is the best way start learning anything.
Please don't think for a second this is THE Truth, it's just my opinion and theory. Feel free to take it as you wish, but thinking about it doesn't hurt, discussing it might even be beneficial.

I don't think AI will ever be able to replace the soul of a song or the soul of writing. AI is fun for things that you won't ever see. But real art can never be replaced. Fluffy's timing, experience and etc will never be replicated by a machine. As much as I LOVE AI.

We recently discovered some information regarding him and artificial intelligence. While AI is already benefiting the current world much and will undoubtedly continue to do so, it will inevitably have drawbacks as well. The popular on TikTok right now edits someone's voice to a song or a chat.

There are studies behind what he said about burn out. When money and obligation enter the equation, the motivation changes, and the enjoyment drops off. When non-profit organizations employ and pay their volunteers, the people enjoy their work a lot less.

As far as AI, you have everything from Ike Asimov's "Multivac" stories to D.F. Jones' "Colossus" Trilogy to Frank Herbert's "Dune" to cover dream and nightmare scenarios. I tend to lean towards Multivac but with the warning of don't let our mechanical children be reflections of our own shadows.
For Aliens, I read a short story long ago about humans sending a probe into the universe to find "god". When it finally returned, it refused to answer stating that either a positive or negative answer would have terrible repercussions on humanity. So, it decided to let humanity exercise its "free will" to dictate their own reality and have faith to continue in its existence.

I think South Park got it right. You had some alien form grab humans from one planet, ants from another, and so on and throw them all together in one place and watch the chaos ensue. Planet Earth is nothing more than must see reality TV for aliens.

Being a pilot, the plane coming in slightly to the side and not straight is called Yaw. Any accidents are 99.999% Pilot error and the rest is mechanical. Best thing is to stay seated with your seatbelt on and not to panic! Been on a plane that semi crashed, went off the runway and for some reason I wasn't bothered....I don't know why, but the older I get, not much bothers me anymore.

I use toe stretchers and LOVE toe socks!!! I have wide feet (and arthritis in my feet) and most shoes that I can afford to get don't have wide , so my feet get super tight and cramped. The toe separators and my toe socks make my feet feel so much better 💓❤️💓❤️
