Hi, I hope all is well! How's the climate in Zagreb? Do you like it there? My Philippine-born daughter got married to a guy from there. He is soft-spoken and very well-mannered. I hope I can visit the place someday soon to meet his parents. Is the cost of living affordable for foreigners income-wise? The place looks nice and people seems very nice too. Thank you for your message. It's already winter season, so it's quite cold here now. The cost of living is a bit high, but it's still manageable compared to other famous EU countries. People are generally nice, but there is still a possibility of encountering racism. The only issue is the language barrier, but in the capital city, many Croatians can speak English. Overall, the country is beautiful and safe to live in.
@@OdyGals Hi, thanks for the info. Where I'm at is still Fall. Winter hasn't officially arrived but the temperature right now is -9C. It feels like -12C with the windchill factor. The winter temperature in Alberta can be as low as -40C. Racism is everywhere, it exist even in the Philippines. It's up to us how we react to avoid escalation. My son-in-law speaks English and German in addition to their native language. My daughter also said that it's beautiful out there. Me, I still prefer living in the Philippine countryside. The cities are chaotic. 😊 Cheers!
