But throwing on a baseball cap isn't the most stylish and pixies (especially growing out pixies) can be challenging. Here are three solutions to help freshen up your second (or third) day hair! I have got one. I live in the UK in the smallest county in England very rural and we have a small town well just one street really and i had to call at Boots for some toiletries and lo and behold they had some so it obviously called to me. Aren't they amazing. I cannot believe how much easier they are to use than a flatiron i got such great volume love love love it why I waited Year I don't know so glad you showed this today thank you. Great ideas Monique. I have looked at the Instyler for about 12 months and it isn't like me to procrastinate like that especially with hair tools but I have so many things, hot brushes, hot rollers, rotating hot brush and I thought maybe this one was just another 'thing I must have for hair' lol. I have not seen it before demonstrated on short hair but wow it gives amazing volume and a perfect curve to the hair which is what I love. My mind is definitely made up now I expect this will be in a shopping cart before the day ends. Thank you I love your hair videos as mine is in a similar style now so I am getting lots of ideas. For a true complete dry shampoo I have used bicarbonate of soda. You can take dry oats, whiz up in blender and use that powder. Also, good for dry shampoo for cats. You do have to brush out well.

Your makeup here is beautiful! The red lip brings your eyes out in a way that no amount of eye shadow could. In fact, this very understated, sculpted eye is far more flattering than other eye looks I've seen you do. Your can use any colors that suit you with the same kind of soft sculpting you did here & it will be great. I understand that sometimes your look may have more to do with a part you're up for than a simple, beautifying look, but I had to let you know, one 50-something chick 🐥 to another, you're a real stunner in this look. 💋

I just started using dry shampoo. I really like it . you look fantastic,you are stunning!!!your like one of those natural beautys .
A tip from a girl with super-fine short hair. Conair makes a hot air brush that's just perfect when you are not good at the two handed blow drying. It smoothes and gives that bend that we need. Used it for about 10 years now. Life-saver. But never use the one with the bristles. They make one that has plastic hard brush spikes instead of bristels. That's the one!
I used a similar one and it had no heat setting and made my hair yellow. I think the metal scorched it.
Weird I've been using it for years and it created my signature personal style - the best tool I cannot live without. Maybe it depends - different things work for different people.

Aloha Monique! The Lady Wore Red!!! Wow! You are stunning in that color. Some people equate red with anger. I equate it with PASSION!! Ok...short hair...I used to never go a day without shampooing. Now I will go three days sometimes. Not terrific on that third day, but I have learned that "good enough" is much more calming to my spirit than the "have to's." Thanks for your great ideas. :)))))
I have a lovely Hawaiian friend who went months without shampooing. She was experimenting with some new trend that showed scientifically that shampooing actually damaged our hair. At about week three (shampooless), she showed me her much thicker hair. She explained that you could dry shampoo the roots but nothing on the hair. I think she made it a month. Obviously a fad, cuz she has gone back to shampooing, just not quite so often. There's nothing like the smell and feel of fresh clean hair! :)))
Nice video! You are fabulous. I use corn starch on my roots. It absorbs the oil without making me smell like baby powder. Like you said, it only works on light colored hair.

yes that turn out very cute I have never tried dry shampoo but s I me day I just might get some but like you say it shows in dark hair I'll wait tell I get more white but then my temples are pretty white I just pull the front back off my face st if the time and way. and especially on the day after I wash it.

Just what I needed....Thank you. Your hair length is about the same as mine, except that I wish I hadn't snipped the top layer so much one day when it was driving me mad. Now I have to try to keep the strong wave out of = Difficult when it is shorter...I appreciated your tips very much...

For more volume in your hair you may want to try a round bristle brush ... the metal round brush may not give you the volume your looking for ... I'm a retired hairstylist... ☺️

I know this is supposed to be about your hair, which looks great, love the cut and styling tips, but it's the lipstick I'm in love with. That color looks fantastic on you. I can't find what you referred to as "Yesterday's video", so I'd love to know what. brand and color it is. Also, I don't see the first line in your lips. I'm 53 and my former beautiful lips are now prunish so I choose not to accentuate the negative. Any tips other than injections?

The best dry shampoo I've found is by Garnier Fructis. It works so well and it's only about $5 a can!!
