I think a full yellow palette is fine, or a blue or whatever. I don’t need a full look in a palette anymore, I need a palette fully comprised of unique shades I don’t already have and color coordinated so I can easily find it when I need it. That’s how I use monochrome palettes usually.
I found some Ace Beaute palettes recently that have some really beautiful color combinations in one palette, because I feel the same way about full color collections!
Love that you added tutorials to the live swatches! However, I do think it would make more sense to do the live swatches and then the tutorial. That way you would know what the colors actually look like, when you do the tutorial♥️

Why are people annoyed at Colourpop releasing so much makeup? It's awesome, if they did it less people would complain they take too long to launch products! You can't ever please people, not like you have to buy everything they make, I just love and appreciate all the options I have. I was literally just thinking this. I’ve come to notice colors never really look like the pan color on the skin, and we judge palettes soooo much by what they look like in the box. I’d love to see the formula of each color and tone first 🤷🏼♀️
My son was walking by when you put on the deep mustard/brown shade and he said it is the color of the mustard that dries on the squeeze top that you have to peel off, 😂😂 Definitely a male perspective but he’s not wrong! I love this look and this palette!!

That color that had the little bit of green to it reminds me of ABH’s electric from the Subculture palette. I never thought I would like a yellow palette but this is so pretty.
I end up buying all the pallets after your live swatches/tutorials. I of course always use your code. It helps me save a little ans helps you earn a small comission. which you desereve bc most of us buy after watching your amazing videos. I was going to pass, my first thought is to be scared of yellow but it looks so pretty once you put it on! The only yellows I have are in rainbow collections or two mustard shades in my nomad Berlin palette. After your video I finally made a look using all those yellows and I got so many compliments. I’m glad you featured this palette. I saw it on twitter today and was thinking about it. I have never used colourpop (crazy I know) but I think I’ll pair it with California Love which you used and made it the first desirable warm neutral palette I’ve seen haha.

Darn it!! I had The California palette and this palette in my cart & I picked the California. You're making me regret it a little 😯 You just made the point that was my concern with the honey palette... Not enough contrast, as beautiful as it is.
Go back and get the Honey palette! Seriously, it's really stunning. The color in the top middle is a lemon yellow shimmer with a blue flash! You would think you would run out of ideas quickly cause it's all yellow, but nope! Especially with each tone, and pairings...like a pink cheek and glossy lip. Or a nude peach cheek with a deep red lip- light yellow for day time, and switch to the honey metallic color for night. It's weirdly that exciting lol

I think maybe the problem with Buzzkill was the eyeshadow base? Sometimes shadows do that if there's too much base or it's very wet!

shae recently changed to doing it this way as her eyelids get sore taking off all the shadows to then have to do an eye look 👀

I was going to pass, my first thought is to be scared of yellow but it looks so pretty once you put it on! The only yellows I have are in rainbow collections or two mustard shades in my nomad Berlin palette. After your video I finally made a look using all those yellows and I got so many compliments. 👏👏👏This palette is so cool I'm definitely going to get one, idk of any other all yellow palettes. Colourpop is killing it lately, I didn't they them for a long time because I didn't think their releases were interesting, but the past year or two they've had a lot of good ones, and I've been happy with the quality and price is great, getting this for $12 over $16 or whatever it is, is a great value.

I’m glad you featured this palette. I saw it on twitter today and was thinking about it. I have never used colourpop (crazy I know) but I think I’ll pair it with California Love which you used and made it the first desirable warm neutral palette I’ve seen haha.

Darn it!! I had The California palette and this palette in my cart & I picked the California. You're making me regret it a little 😯 You just made the point that was my concern with the honey palette... Not enough contrast, as beautiful as it is.
Go back and get the Honey palette! Seriously, it's really stunning. The color in the top middle is a lemon yellow shimmer with a blue flash! You would think you would run out of ideas quickly cause it's all yellow, but nope! Especially with each tone, and pairings...like a pink cheek and glossy lip. Or a nude peach cheek with a deep red lip- light yellow for day time, and switch to the honey metallic color for night. It's weirdly that exciting lol
I think this would pair nicely with the brown sugar palette. Which I bought because of your video. I also just picked up the Sigma Eye primer stick because of you. And I love it
