Mine is black and white. With the rabbit edition having black accents all over as well as the rims. I love the hell out of the way it looks. So much better than just a generic white gti.
Agreed with everything you mentioned. Count your blessings with the auto start/stop. On my other 2 cars you have to turn it off every time you start the car, no matter the driving mode. Thankfully my Rabbit is a manual so it doesn't have it yay.
That’s a pleasant surprise I was not aware of in my rabbit. I have a 6 speed manual transmission. So I don’t have to deal with the auto on/off whatsoever.
Hi Michael, so far I've put close to 8k miles on the GTI and I've had no problems so far. I'd like to think that with the GTI in terms of durability and build quality it's a step down from Audi and BMW, but for the price you won't find a better hatchback.
Finally, someone who agrees with my assessment of the VW Golf GTI. The GTI is quiet and does not feel fast but it is (relatively). I test drove a 2018 GTI at a dealership and I agree with the reviewer that it felt boring. It felt isolated and not as engaging to drive as the MINI Cooper S, even though it has less power, 189 va. 220 bhp
My previous message was sent out without my knowledge before I had a chance to correct my spelling, which is annoying. Any way, as I was saying, the MINI Cooper is more engaging to drive that the GTI despite having less power, but it’s also less practical because of having a lot less trunk space, and less cabin interior. I the MINI feels fast, as opposed to the GTI, because of its diminutive size and short wheelbase. Again, size is a relative term. Compared to the original Mini, the modern NINI Cooper is gigantic but tiny compared to other new cars.
Still no stalls? Sucks a good number of the DSG's are also STALLING at low speeds in addition to the manuals. I still think anyone who buys this car is playing Russian Roulette. VW is buying mine back. No fix in site. And it could start happening at any time. Someone just had there's start stalling at 3900 miles.
@Hugo Angulo The buyback is underway, but it is quite the process. It took 6 days just to hear from VW America after they told my dealer to stop working on the car. Then another 4-5 days for them to receive the info from the leasing company to figure out how much money I should get back. Now that they have my signed ppw, it will be another 10-14 days before THEY receive the check. Then another 4-5 days until my dealer receives the check and can schedule me to come back in and have them inspect the car and finally give me the check.

Nice car choice. Mine is Urano Grey. 12K miles, fully stock, no problems so far. I agree. Its really boring to drive slow in this car. LOL
video quality is really becoming top-notch!
I'm torn, I'd like to have a moonroof, but I prefer the plaid seats.

Great review beautiful car, can you tell me if your gti is reliable and is the structure really sound like a German car ?? Thank you:-):-)

Might take some getting used to but you have no need to use the key fob you can just grab the door handle and it will unlock
I usually just walk up to my car and grab the handle. For reviews it's a habit since I've filmed cars without this feature.
interior is def premium....which the other competitors cannot match

Get an obdeleven... You can turn off the autostart feature.
