Pokemon but MY WHOLE TEAM has 5 EXTRA IMMUNITIES! POKEMON SCARLET AND VIOLET

- In the Shared Power OM, Pokemon can have 6 Abilities active at once! When a Pokemon switches in, its Ability is then active for the rest of the battle, meaning we can have 6 Absorption Abilities active at once! With Water Absorb, Volt Absorb, Flash Fire, Sap Sipper, Storm Drain and Earth Eater, all of our Pokemon are immune to those types! Chandelure definitely benefits the most from these!

pokepast.es/2ec9ba5df31c8527 - For anyone who wants to check out the Team!
Oh so you were the guy I fought yesterday
ggwp (even tho I didn't make it into the video😔 but yeah I guess a 7 turn battle isn't good enough for a showcase lol)
Imagine passing skill link, technician, and stench to maushold. Throw in psychic terrain if you want to prevent priority and you'd have a beast.
Compound Eyes (if it is available) is better than Skill Links for Maushold, since it frees the item slot up and displaces the 90% accuracy of Population Bomb
Skill link doesnt work on pop bomb btw compound eyes does work though
Gonna also want Scrappy for maximum "monkey brain." Need to hit those ghosts somehow.
imagine sharpness too
@@SombresI don't think Population Bomb is a Slicing move.
I’ve been doing this actually! I use ortho, jolteon, dachsbun, volcanion and gogoat, and crawdaunt for adaptability
Really entertaining and good battles to watch
Although I couldn’t help but feel that if a single person had a mold breaker ability, that would’ve been the kryptonite for your team
It's banned
@@iLoveGojo14 Really? Thank you for letting me know
Oh I’m in the video ^^, I did a lot of misplay in this game ( especially the aqua jet in my head only your ogerpon had a water immunity I forgot about gastrodon 😅)
No need for both water absorb and storm drain
Earth eater can also be replaced with levitate to be immune to spikes and T spikes (and you get a way better pokemon in your team)
And finally I suggest instead of storm drain and volt absorb, fluffy and ice scales, so you basically get double defense and special defense on top on many type immunities
For volt absorb instead I went with a ground type with water absorb namely Clodsire
My whole team is Houndstone (Fluffy + Last respect is legal) / Heatran (Flash fire + Resist most priority moves) / Frostmoth (Ice scales) / Giratina (Levitate + Fighting/Normal immunity) / Hisuian Goodra (Sap sipper)
With tera cristals that give even more immunities likes ground/ghost/fairy/dark
Tell me what you think !
Firstly, I explained in the video why I had both Water Absorb and Storm Drain. Ogerpon was our main damage output and I found myself Terastallizing it the most, however since its Ability changes upon Terastallization, we lose Water Absorb, therefore we have Storm Drain to keep our Water Immunity.
I prefer Earth Eater to Levitate. Mainly because I like Orthworm more and I can make use of Shed Tail.
As for you suggesting Fluffy and Ice Scales... they don't provide an immunity... the whole video is based on making a team of Pokemon that provide Type immunities 😅 I make Ability Teams all the time on my channel, and this is what I was doing here.
I think the team you left in your comment sounds good, however again, this was a team based around Type Immunity 😅
I appreciate your comment though.
@@RivalNatty No problem I didn't mean to interfer with your video idea I just wanted to expand upon it with what I found to be effective with the type immunity theme to make basically unkillable pokemon, I included fluffy and ice scales because electric is the only immunity I had to remove and that's easily fixed with a ground type. Your choices are totally fair and i've played a lot with orthworm and ogerpon as well
What's your favourite thing to run in Shared Power?
This was my first time playing, so I don't have a favourite yet... Lol
I have a wheezing with neutralizing gas just as a troll for people that play this format
I think I will go for pokemons with abilities like static, aftermath or even cursed body to make my opponents rage quit.
Im too inactive at showdown nowadays and almost never play OMs lol
The ability I might definitely run is technician
Harvest, gluttony, ripen, and cud chew mons into my wincon, a kommo o o w/ bdrum and starf berry w/ protect for more starfs
I can see a full vessel of ruin team being quite strong
Vessel of Ruin or any of the Ruin abilities are really powerful in this mode... lol
I'm thinking maybe Infernape with every Ruin ability to make it a Mixed Attacker. It has overall good speed and equal attack stats. Just make it extremely speedy and the same evs in the attacking department and you got yourselves a busted Monke.
Combine Fluffy, Flash Fire, Vessel, Tablets, Icy Scales and one monstrous attacker
All opponent's have offenses cut, all your defenses are doubled, and the fire weakness from Fluffy is nulled out, whatever else is on the team becomes a monstrous tank
@@StarlightWarriorGamerJames you can't cus sword of ruin is banned
@@Gold-mw3uh Oh. Ok. Maybe just Vessel of Ruin and Tablets of Ruin to lower the defenses of the opponent and then Moxie, Soul-Heart, or even both to get the boulder rolling and causing destruction.
(If anyone saw the Thomas and friends episode "Rusty and the Boulder", you'd know exactly what I mean.)
I wonder what would happen if you built a whole team around mons that change normal types into a specific move type and up the moves damage. Would the abilities just overwrite each other?
Pixilate, Refrigerate, Galvanize, Liquid Voice, Aerilate and Normalize… exactly six moves, I’m also curious to see if it’ll override them
@@myplatiorexcept only 1 is in gen 9
@@mystora7159With Alolan Golem we have 2 now and with the 2nd Dlc we will get Primarina back and maybe Delcatty
Nothing compares to that ultra bulky team with inmunity to crits
Ngl your video made me want to try it haha !
This format would make me rip my hair out omg😭🤣
Bro they made cute "legendary" pokemon but with only 550 BS total
How would illusion work?
Try flash fire hisuian arcanine with Tera grass and give him phychic fangs for poison coverage!!
Since araquanid might come to gen 9... Drizzle, Huge power, Sheer force (or tinted lens), Adaptability, Mold Breaker (or tinted lens), Water bubble liquidation with max damage, attack boosting nature, and choice band >:)
Huge power is banned
Then everything listed but replace huge power with tinted lens then lol.
Unfortunately Tinted Lens, Huge Power and Mold Breaker are banned 😞😅
ah. then. rip ig.
What about toxic boost + poison heal + guts + quick feet?
Bruhhhhh
That would be absolutely busted, but unfortunately Poison Heal and Quick Feet are banned
How did ogerpon outspeed magearna at +2 speed?
Why shelter over Iron Defense?
Because Hisuian Goodra doesn't get Iron Defence...? 😅
@@RivalNatty Sorry I meant Acid Armor. Acid Armor has more PP
Hey man, can you share the team?
Its in the pinned comment
Is there a pokemon with levitate? Im not sure which type immunity youd rather swap out for ground immunity but it seems like it would help jolteon pivot in at times
I'd rather have the potential HP Recovery from Earth Eater
Instead of flash fire (chandelure) I would've gone dachsbun for the +2 defence boost
I could've done, but then the team would have like... little to no offensive capabilities 😅
@@RivalNatty that's fair 🤣
How about a super stall team with Regenerator, Natural Cure, abilities that heal in weather, and a bunch of U-turn, volt switch, etc? Throw in some red cards, whirlwind, etc.
regenerator is banned
imagine this mode but shedinja any electric type magic guard and earth eater
U should have put Thicc Fat instead of Storm Drain or Water Absorb, i know it doesn't give an Immunity but a Ice Réduction is still gud
But it's not an immunity, which is the point of the team 😅
@@RivalNattyTbf Storm Drain doesn’t give you anything that Water Absorb doesn’t, so it’s still not the best pick. I’d say go for something that gives immunity to a *category* of move, like Armor Tail for priority, Bulletproof for ball/bomb moves, Soundproof for sound moves, or Magic Guard for indirect damage. Technically an immunity, just not to a type.
@@thequagiestsire The idea of the team is to give *Type* Immunity. I did explain why I used Storm Drain as well as Water Absorb in the video. Ogerpon was our main damage output, so we often Terastallized it, however Ogerpon's ability changes when it Terastallizes and we end up losing Water Absorb, which is where Storm Drain comes in continuing to give us Water Immunity.
when a pokemon is knocked out. do you lose the ability?
No, the ability remains even if the Pokemon is KOd
I used pawmot instead of jolt
Nice team.
Cheers mate 🙂
Dark Immunity why not?😊
Because no Ability gives Dark Type Immunity...? 😅
try stakeout
Levitate gives ground immunity tho?
So does Earth Eater... and it heals HP too 😅
Oh right
@@RivalNattyBut it doesn’t protect against most entry hazards like Levitate does.
@@Living_Life242 I'd rather have the HP Recovery as well as immunity
@@RivalNatty :/ With Earth Eater you may get one HP boost, two if your opponent isn’t paying attention. But Levitate means you can just ignore Spikes, Poison Spikes and Webs for the entire match. It can nearly shut down entire strategies.
Plus, Levitate has a lot more options for Pokémon you can pick rather than being forced to take Orthworm.
