COMPONENTS - The cards are fine, though I'd recommend sleeving quickly. The basic cardboard tokens work fine, but the deluxe wooden ones are much nicer.

I really really hope they expand this game with creative scenarios that turn the key concepts upside down

That would be awesome, though I’m also happy with it as its current small, inexpensive package

Cool looking game. It begs the question though, what is the best 2 player, co-op, trick-taking game?

Of the ones I’d play I’m torn between this and fox in the forest duet. Fox has better special powers, but this has way better theme.
The crew is great, but for me it’s a 3+ player game

@@OneStopCoopShop Yea, I own The Crew, but I agree it's better with more.

And what are the best 2p trick-taking games? Not necessarily cooperative

I haven’t sought out any 2-player competitive ones, sorry! When I play competitive it’s always 3+.
But I imagine Jekyll vs. Hyde would be really good, since I love the cooperative 2-player Jekyll & Hyde vs Scotland Yard

This just arrived recently and I taught myself the rules - can’t wait to play with my wife in the next day or two!

Hope you both have a ton of fun! It's pretty straightforward to learn I think, especially for anyone with trick-taking experience
