My husband and our children are autistics. I thought I understanded them quite correctly but your videos and explainations helped me like no other to really understand them. And now, my daughter and I watch your video together and appreciate so much the help you give, the transformation you made and we laugh to your jokes. @olili2240 we have a severely autistic son. He is very disabled from it, causing mental retardation. He lives in a group home with 24 hour a day care. We are in our 70s and unable to provide what he needs at 44. I am so glad to see you can identify and receive encouragement from these videos. I also have a cousin with autism. He is 55, has a full time job. He cannot handle his finances, but his dad has dementia and my cousin lives with him, cares for him. They have housekeeping help and his sister handles the money. It works great and he makes a very good living with no need for disability assistance. Best regards from Florida
I can identify with your statement that some rooms are just not large enough for huge TV's. The last time I purchased a television I was looking at one that was 30 inches and the salesman wanted to sell me one that was 90 inches. I told him I wasn't interested in one that was that big, that I wanted one that was 30 inches. He INSISTED that I needed to get the 90-inch model and he just wasn't listening to me. Finally I said to him, "Look, my house is so small that if I got a television that had a 90-inch screen, I would have to go over and sit in my neighbor's house so I could be far enough away from it to watch it." I got the 30-inch model.
That salesman needs to learn that a) no means no and b) "no" is a complete sentence. The best way to teach people like him is to take your money elsewhere if he doesn't listen and respect your wishes. (sorry if that sounds too harsh, my annoyance/anger is directed at the salesman, not at you!)
We were given a 75 inch TV. Only way it works is because we have a very big, open concept living area. Thankful for the gift, thankful to live where it works. We always had smaller ones before buying this house because that's what worked. It's annoying people don't get that.
Wow. If only the world had more individuals like you who took the time to see beyond the disaster to recognize others who are clearly overwhelmed. Instead of judging them harshly, you actively choose to help. You're a rare breed. Keep up the important work. Blessings.🍀
You taught me a very important thing today. You said depression doesn't always come with sadness. I never really got that before. Very, very eye opening. Thank you so much.
Yes. I'm a person who's always smiling. Every job on my reviews as a custodian, care is always smiling. She works well with everyone. I struggle to put that smile on daily. It's hard for me to even clean my own house. My grandmother was a hoarder. Now that I'm 47 I feel like I'm starting to do things like that. I think it steams now from loosing 3 homes in my life. The last one being a flood as I lived on the ky River 2020. A fire and bankruptcy where the other two.

The new feature length film from MidwestMagicCleaning is a rousing success. It delivers all the inspiring, uplifting content that we expect along with plenty of moose references and spinkicks. There are lots of laughs, interspersed with more serious moments of wisdom delivered in his signature quotable style. Despite being a compilation of previous material, it really works, building up to a stunning finish. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I've lived in some janky run-down places because I love budget transformations and cheap rent! I make a lot of changes without asking because slumlords don't really care. One thing I've done is used floor paint right over the top of floors like that kitchen. It wears very well, too, like for years. And it's cleanable. And the transformation is incredible. And it's cheap. And, and, and, and LOVE YOU GUYS! kiss-kiss

update on my status just to give you the full range of thanks that must be given: since I discovered your channel I got officially diagnoses as an autistic person (today of all days it was made official) and we finally discovered that my 7 month long depression was actually autistic burnout that plagued me for all my worklife so far! So thanks would not suffice but I can give you as much of that as needed!
This is fast becoming one of my favorite channels to watch. Your unique sense of humor never fails to make me laugh, and your ability to empathize with people's situations without judgment is so comforting and refreshing in a time when far too many people are cruel and hateful to one another for no reason. So many channel's comments sections make me anxious but I know I can scroll through yours and see a ton of supportive comments of people uplifting each other. Your personality obviously inspires kindness. Thank you for what you do and for sharing it with all of us
Thank you so much for explaining how depression works . Your description is spot on . Depression is not necessarily about feeling sad , though there is a sadness , but it's more about feeling overwhelmed with how your life is or has been and it does zap all of your energy to the point that it can sometimes be just such a great effort and exhausting to climb the stairs even .
When I wake up to find a 180+ minute video waiting from Midwest Magic Cleaning, I watch with glee -- but in the process, I've missed my 30-minute daily 8am "cleaning date" with FlyLady (which helps me with MY level of needed cleaning), but still I've made my bed, have laundry going, washed dishes, taken care of some home accounting and filing, so I'm still making progress!
You and Sean from Midlife Stockman would just make the perfect team. You both have big hearts and the way you help people is mind blowingly spin kickingly awesome.
You probably already know this! When we had a fire at our chocolate factory, the people who came in to clean up the soot damage, used cheap bread to rub on the walls, it worked like a charm. Perhaps it helps with other fire damage projects, just thought I’d mention it. You do a great job, i love watching your videos, keep up the good work.
I don't have an ostrich to put mascara on. But I do have a yak and he really likes it when I practice on him. And since he's a big yak, nobody makes fun of him for it.
Hi Mack, thank you so much for the shout of for Carla from The Carla Project. She apparently got a huge bump in traffic and thanked you personally in her video that came out after that. She is also one of my favorites and its awesome to see such reciprocity between two content creators I really enjoy. May the You Tube Gods bless you with your One Million subscribers!
I’ve lived with “real estate” beige all my life incase of selling. This year I did it my way. Living room and dining room is a fresh paint of grey with a tinge of blue similar to this home. Simply love my new color that hanging pictures aren’t a priority ❤
I just love this particular series - not only did you make a huge difference for this family, but you also managed to demonstrate some things people can do to create a more inviting environment on a budget. And you know it's gonna stick since this family is already doing all they can to keep their home as nice as they can. That isn't always the case in true (current) hoarder homes unless the hoarder is able to make some progress in overcoming those tendencies. Anyway - it's lovely to see the improvements for this family.
Can I just tell you how much I love your videos! As a fellow autistic hoarder, cleaning my place while watching you clean other peoples homes, has not only put my disorder in perspective, but it's also helped me figure out how to stop shuffling stuff around, get organized and sanitized. Thanks for doing this!
My parents house was similar to this, mouse nests and poop everywhere. I had to get pest control to come in and there was hoarding with clothes everywhere. Took me two years to clean this house because I live in a different city, so I cleaned when I could. Now we have the house for sale, took a long time to get it in some type of shape. Requires a lot of work, I really respect what you do.
At first I was going to comment on how kind, selfless, and hard-working you and your family are. But dude, you are also impossibly funny. I'll watch you forever.
I just painted two rooms, a master bedroom and smaller office. I did two coats on the ceiling and walls, and all the trim. It was tedious, made my shoulders and neck hurt, my back was screaming. But after I put back all the furniture, it was so worth it.
You said something to the effect of ....if a cleaning channel makes you mad you need a hobby. Love it! hahaha! Fabulous. I think what you're doing for people is some of the best pscyhological help in a pracitcal way that I have ever seen. You plant a seed of hope while doing it with what you have. Love it! Great transformation by the way. I watch your channel and it inspired me. Thank you.
So excited to see this video! My pet moose and I don’t even care if it’s early morning, we’re making the popcorn and settling in to watch you perform your magic!!! Thanks for all you do to help people!
This cleaning, renovation, & transformation is a STONE COLD STUNNER bro'! You just stomped a MUDHOLE on all the dirt on that home Mitch! This video deserves a BILLION VIEWS, if you agree, Give me a HELL YEAH! 🤟🤟🤟
I've noticed that when I repaint an old house it also gets rid of some of the weird smells that might be haunting the place. With the infestations and the fires I bet the painting helped this environment a lot that way as well.
Thank you for saying what you did about depression. I have a depression disorder. I have worked in psychiatry for 24 years. I get it and am glad to work for these people.
I wish more people would help people out like this, homes are super important and sometimes people need a little bit of help to get back the house into a home
@@chuckturley8090 no I know this is a huge project, I mean before it gets to this level when you see someone struggling a little help to prevent it from getting to this level
While I agree, this is really tough work to do on top of everything else people have going on in their lives. This man is a rare soul. I’m grateful to have come across this inspirational (and hilarious) channel.
What a huge blessing you are to so many!! I can only imagine how thrilled the homeowner was!! It’s amazing how transformational a couple coats of paint can be!! The fact that you are going the extra mile to do minor repairs in addition to major cleaning is truly inspiring! Thanks for sharing your heart and your ambitions with us! ❤
Thanks for allowing us moose ugly regular subscribers this special series. It was such an amazing transformation. It was so dark and depressing before. I hope this family gets lots of blessings that they can continue to transform their home.
I just love this guy. Fate or irony, I'm coming to terms with my own autism diagnosis, and also come from an environment like these, and i have always struggled with cleaning. So I'm getting tips on techniques and products, plus the sped up audio is a soothing stim. I can watch (and listen to) this tall drink of water all day and night.
Heyhey rootytootyfartypop, I just wondered if you've ever watched flawless cleaning? He's a British guy who started off doing free driveway pressure washing for people who needed it, especially older folks who needed not to be slipping over! He started noticing that some of them were less on top of things than they could be and started clearing overgrown gardens too. Before you know it, he was getting involved with house repairs and all sorts. He's recently started a go fund me to... well. I don't want to be giving spoilers for anyone who wants to watch. He's a really lovely bloke who really wants to help and its very heartwarming ❤❤
@MidwestMagicCleaning oops! Sorry, my memory isn't so great, I now find myself wondering if that's how I ended up watching both of you 😅 Thank you for your reply, and thank you for these videos. You make it easier for me to feel happier in myself. And on the days when I'm not able to get much done myself it's pleasing and satisfying to watch someone else do a great job.
I've only recently found your channel and subscribed. I enjoy your content and the way you deal with ppl w/ undeveloped empathy. I have severe adhd and find myself paralyzed when it comes to clean ups. I feel more motivated after watching and listening to your channel, so thank you for what you do.
Wow, that was some serious cleaning! It's awesome to see you bringing that place back to life. I've been tackling some big clean-ups myself lately, so I know how good it feels to make such a difference. Can't wait to see how it turns out in the next episodes! 😊
Haha, Post 10 apparently is in the same state as me. Thanks for the suggestion. ❤ My son painted our condo when we got gentrified out and had to sell. He really carefully chose the white colors for the walls. You seem to have used the same care. Nice. And it came out great, to boot.
😂 I painted my large bathroom a rich warm Brown😂. Love it, it’s very ZEN. Then the white ceiling and white ceramic tile adds to the zen look. Added fire engine Red rugs. So the five zen elements are earth, fire, sky blue (toilet tabs)green in a framed water color of a Canadian geese with-cat tails she did when she was 9yrs old, then stone is all my white tub and floor tiles😂❤
So glad you gave them LIGHT in the livingroom. The rearrangement of the furniture plus paint plus a window transformed the room. You did a great job in all rooms but the livingroom was my favorite. This family was so deserving of your help. This video is also an instructional "how to" for viewers who want to fix up their own place.😊😊
I love that you combined these videos. I recall watching first time around. We painted 3 rooms this spring (after 15+ years) and I still marvel at the difference. I can only imagine standing in this house feeling the joy of all you and Jason were able to accomplish!
I hope you're feeling better Mack. You are a blessing to so many! I'm so encouraged by watching what you do and how you do it. My home is not as bad off as most of those you do, but after 3 years of severe depression it's at a place it could easily get there. Thank you for your kindness to those you help and encouragement to your followers.
Thank you for explaining the importance of 70% IPA and why not to use 91%. Blows my mind how many people think because the percentage is higher it must be stronger/work better. I worked in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Sterile Filling to be more precise. And you wouldn’t find anything but 70% sterile IPA in that facility. You absolutely need that additional water content for the extended exposure necessary to kill bacteria. Anything stronger evaporates too quickly to effectively break down the cell membranes.
I LOVE your videos! I have ADHD and DID so they inspire me to keep trying to spin-kick the horrible mess i have to deal with daily. Thank you for the inspiration...it helps sooooo much. And your sense of humor is awesome. You are amazing.
I get what your saying cause I’ve lived with mdd since I was kid but how I think I dealt with my emotional turmoil was through cleaning!! So if my environment isn’t clean it causes me more distress and anxiety! My place is always in order but illness keeps me from deep cleaning which causes me more depression…to others my place looks clean but to me I know it’s not!! Sometimes it’s difficult to see through others eyes and that is the truth! But that is where compassion should always come first! Love your channel!
You and Jason are amazing for going out and doing this for free for people who really need a hand up and not a hand out and I applaud you both not all hero's wear capes and you both are hero's
Thinking of you and your family 💐 Jason's baby is coming soon, hooray!!! What would a Friday be without you and the moose making me laugh out loud!! Thank you, Mack, for everything you do 🫎❤❤❤
Thank you so much for another great video. I have learned so much about depression, anxiety, ADHD and hoarding. Thank you for presenting your hard earned knowledge in such a kind, compassionate and understanding way. You and Jason ( and sometimes others as well) make a world a better place. Also your sense of humor is fantastic! Best wishes ❤️
You, your amazing son (Can't wait for his new addition!!) and the support of your family both at home and throughout the world watching are changing the hearts, lives and minds of so many. Thank you for being you!! I must say the Moose have a part in your success as well. God bless you and your family!! Prayers for your new grand baby and your beautiful wife!!
I have never been this early! Thank you for being here; I get very stressed and anxious when having people in my room to help, not to mention the risk of covid ect. I attemted last year when my room was forcibly "cleaned" and my childhood stuffed animal was thrown out whilst it was in a handbag. The videos help me do it myself so I'm not stressed
I just spent hours cleaning things like walls, cabinets, handles etc. This was perfect to listen to as I did that! Easy to listen to, you teach us things, and the jokes are hilarious! Thank you for all the help you bring to people! I have now completed tasks I have been putting off! ❤
It baffles me that no matter what, some dunce rolls in and says 'well actually, you should have done x' how about this? You get up off your couch and go fix a strangers home for free instead then, how's that sound?
I watched these episodes individually when they came out but it was nice to see them all put together. I don't mind watching your videos more than once because invariably there was a smart ass comment or two that I missed the first time around so I get a fresh laugh when I rewatch the videos. The changes you made were amazing and $3,000 doesn't seem like much for all the improvements to that home. Money well spent.
I recently found your channel a couple weeks ago, and I found myself relating not only to your humor, but your interest in cleaning. Also, I love Camaros! I myself am autistic and one of my interests ever since I was a little kid was Camaros, I really would like to own one some day.
I love your channel because you just do normal house makeovers. They aren't mansions. and you don't just get rid of everything or do things that only look good on camera. This house looks great! It looks so better even with just the primer! If he works late and needs it dark, he should get one of those eye masks that has the eye cups on it. It's comfortable and they work great and then the house doesn't have to be super dark all the time. People who say that the people are lazy obviously have never had depression or had family members. It's sad that people can't just be nice. You're doing wonderful things for these people whose homes you are fixing up. I grew up in houses that were never to code, that were a lot like these homes in many ways.
You guys are doing a world of good for the people you help. And I'm pretty sure you are inspiring others to do the same, be more compassionate and just be more kind. People go through things behind closed doors that most never experience so ... thank you for bringing hope to this family ❤

One thing I've done is used floor paint right over the top of floors like that kitchen. It wears very well, too, like for years. And it's cleanable. And the transformation is incredible. And it's cheap. And, and, and, and LOVE YOU GUYS! kiss-kiss
Great tip!
I understand why this family needed your help. I would have frozen in my steps if I walked into this situation. You are a miracle worker.
❤❤ ❤ “that’s one of my goals. To walk into a pit of despair and obliterate it with hope. “❤️❤️❤️
I love that! 😁
I want that on a mug!
I don't know what's more breath taking: your kindness or the final result
You forgot his twisted sense of humor :-)
I've been suffering from depression my whole life. It's kicking in hard now. Your videos motivate me. It's a little at a time. It's not dirty, it's clutter. I spin kicked the whole situation.Once I get started The moose ran down the road whimpering. Son. Love you!!!❤
Well done!
I have suffered w depression and ADD. My whole life. I take meds, sometimes we change, can tell when it needs changing.
You keep fighting it! I am 65.
update on my status just to give you the full range of thanks that must be given: since I discovered your channel I got officially diagnoses as an autistic person (today of all days it was made official) and we finally discovered that my 7 month long depression was actually autistic burnout that plagued me for all my worklife so far!
Yep. I'm in a severe low and Having Mac articulate depression so clearly gives me a glimmer of hope

Love Fly Lady! I know because you: shined your sink, made your bed, and did “A load a day keeps Mount Washmore away.” 😂lol. Progress, not Perfection!!
You and Sean from Midlife Stockman would just make the perfect team. You both have big hearts and the way you help people is mind blowingly spin kickingly awesome.
I thought the same thing! What a team they would be ❤️
@@Ydkm1212perfect.
My husband just said as much! Brilliant!
Love this idea!
I was thinking both should team up with flawless cleaning from England.
I have been binging your videos, and for some strange reason, my house is getting cleaner. Your influence is wider than you think.
"...so white, it's last name was Cumberbatch." 🤣🤣🤣
You do humanity proud
Thank you so much! ❤️❤️🫎
Mac is right. Painting is exhausting but it's the biggest bang for the buck.
It is…my arms hurt just watching them 🤦🏾♀️
Can I just tell you how much I love your videos!
As someone that has called themselves lazy for years, thank you for putting it into words. ❤
At first I was going to comment on how kind, selfless, and hard-working you and your family are. But dude, you are also impossibly funny. I'll watch you forever.
I remember when you did these all separate. It was fun to see them again together. Thanks Mack & Jason.
You can't just say you have a pet moose and not elaborate
Give us more info about that pet moose!
I had a dream that I rescued two moose calves last night, apropos of nothing. 🫎🫎
I would like a Moose, and I would name him Chad.
😂
I loved that statement too - "to walk into a pit of despair and obliterate it with hope" - very inspiring.
This cleaning, renovation, & transformation is a STONE COLD STUNNER bro'! You just stomped a MUDHOLE on all the dirt on that home Mitch! This video deserves a BILLION VIEWS, if you agree, Give me a HELL YEAH! 🤟🤟🤟
HELL YEAH!!!
HELL YEAH!
Oh I forgot the !!!!!!!
HELL YEAH.😊❤
HELL YEAH !!!!!!
I love this channel for its humanity and cleanliness…I stay here to hear the talking moose.
The most satisfying part of this video was when you primed the ceiling. Wow! You and Jason ROCK!
I wish more people would help people out like this, homes are super important and sometimes people need a little bit of help to get back the house into a home
@@chuckturley8090 no I know this is a huge project, I mean before it gets to this level when you see someone struggling a little help to prevent it from getting to this level
Most people have plenty to do in their own homes, jobs, a family to take care of.
While I agree, this is really tough work to do on top of everything else people have going on in their lives.
This man is a rare soul.
I’m grateful to have come across this inspirational (and hilarious) channel.
Why don’t you go out and help?
@@ETEYVF I didn’t “wish” anything. Smartass. Or dumbass. 🤷🏼♀️
God has blessed him because he has blessed others. 😊
Im so glad there werent any moose nests and piles of moose droppings!! I dont even know the size vacuum cleaner you would use. 🤗
I've shouted him out before in my videos
@MidwestMagicCleaning oops! Sorry, my memory isn't so great, I now find myself wondering if that's how I ended up watching both of you 😅
Thank you for your reply, and thank you for these videos.
🥰🥰
Having hoarder family members make me thank you for everything you do ❤
Oh, man. I can see why she would feel completely overwhelmed. God bless you.❤
Bless you for the work you do. Simply amazing and so heartwarming.
If anyone doubts the power of paint they need to watch this video. You gave these people back their home. Thanks! Love your videos!
Kindness knows no boundaries. Thank you for reaching out and lifting others up!! Wonderful! Wishing full healing for your wife. 💗🦋✌️
Sir you are a blessing, thank you for being such a good person. The world needs more people like you!
Mack and Jason totally rocked this renovation! I enjoyed seeing the series again just as much as I did the first time I saw it. Great job, guys!
"Walk into a pit of despair and just obiterate it with hope". That statement made me join your channel, well you make me laugh too 🙂
❤️❤️❤️
You and Jason are amazing for going out and doing this for free for people who really need a hand up and not a hand out and I applaud you both not all hero's wear capes and you both are hero's
Thinking of you and your family 💐 Jason's baby is coming soon, hooray!!! What would a Friday be without you and the moose making me laugh out loud!! Thank you, Mack, for everything you do 🫎❤❤❤
I marvel at your work. You and Jason are so great and kind.
As someone who grew up in a similar living situation, thank you so much for everything you do for these families.
The area rug in episode 2 is a great place for the cat to yak up on! 🤣🤣 ( this is why I have hardwood floors...love my kitties ).
I'm so sorry about your stuffed animal. I'm 27, but I'd still cry for a week if someone did that to me. Probably longer, tbh.
I'm glad you're doing it yourself!!! Much better that way!
I just spent hours cleaning things like walls, cabinets, handles etc. This was perfect to listen to as I did that! Easy to listen to, you teach us things, and the jokes are hilarious! Thank you for all the help you bring to people! I have now completed tasks I have been putting off! ❤
It really breaks my heart to see people and their moose living like this. 😢
The moose never asked for this. I’m sure they are grateful.❤
It baffles me that no matter what, some dunce rolls in and says 'well actually, you should have done x' how about this? You get up off your couch and go fix a strangers home for free instead then, how's that sound?
I've banned around 30 of those so far today.
I was really getting worried I was never going to find someone willing to give up their mouse poop. Thank you!
I am becoming addicted to this channel. Every episode leaves me smiling like a huge dopamine moose. Thank yas for what you do!
✌️&❤
Thank you for what you do, and why you do it! You are making the world a better place, and helping people who really need it! Blessings on you
You guys are doing a world of good for the people you help. And I'm pretty sure you are inspiring others to do the same, be more compassionate and just be more kind. People go through things behind closed doors that most never experience so ... thank you for bringing hope to this family ❤
It's amazing how great everything looks when you're done cleaning a place. Great job, you guys!
Came back to get some inspiration. I’ve been in a rut. Thanks for all the work you do
The difference just some paint and rearranging makes. It’s stunning.
I hope you and Emily are feeling ok. And all your mooses and their families are doing ok.😊❤
Your videos encourage me to work on my moneypit myself, which is the only way it's going to get done. Thank you.
