Khonoma Village Is A Must Visit For Any Traveller Coming To Kohima District. Like All Naga Villages, Khonoma Is Also Set On A Hill. It Is Only When One Takes A Village Walk Through The Lanes; That This Is No Ordinary Village. The Village Truly Embodies The Green Village Tag With Its Unending Shades Of Lush Greenery Surrounded By Beautifully Crafted Stone Works From Its Pavements To Walls And On To The Majestic Stone Gates. The Local People Have Developed A Very High State Of Craftsmanship Both In Stone Works & Basketry Besides Highly Sustainable Farming.
