I notice this is a 7 yr old video yet I would like you to know how grateful I am to find you. I’m a newbie and you inspired me. Thank you for sharing. I hope you’re doing fine. Blessings 🙏
Our daughter is struggling with the concept of maths and these multiple maths station ideas look and sound great! What a great teacher with bags of energy and enthusiasm who is making maths fun for young learners. I'm feeling really positive about how these concepts can help our daughter
Furiously taking notes here. 😊 Been teaching Kinder for almost 6 years but boy have I gotten some fresh ideas from your channel. Thank you for making this video!!
Amazingly simple, thorough and straight forward. I’m going to be teaching K next year, after 3 yrs in upper elementary. This tutorial is EXACTLY what I needed. If possible, please make your recording sheets available online. TPT is a great option.
I am glad it was helpful! Check out the rest of my channel. Some of it is travel, but I have a lot of Kindergarten teacher tips! I will see if I can get the sheets up, once I am back in the classroom.
Since I have started with taking the bigger number in our head and counting on for addition such as touch math, my kinders are quicker and understand adding more. Plus, counting on helps when adding bigger numbers.
I’m first year out teacher and what fabulous ideas! Are there more ideas? I am struggling at the moment…😞 I am going to steal the pipe cleaner and bead one too. End of last term we were just working on addition facts to 10. Looks fun and can’t wait to try with my kiddos. Thanks very much.
I am so glad I found this video! I am homeschooling this year and doing a mini co-op with a friend. I LOVE these ideas! Thank you for sharing!! (I have also watched like 10 other videos of yours now too.) So much value in what you share! I ordered Love and Logic- Thank you!
Good luck next year in Kindergarten! It’s a wonderful grade. I would love to do another math stations video. I am taking a break from videos until the summer. I started teaching a college class as well as teaching kindergarten and have no free time :(. I will film my trip this summer and then next year I have BIG plans for teaching tip videos!
Hands up this is amazing and I have to say I was so into all these activities. This is what learning should be about, curiosity and interactions, Salute!
Hey , I just ran across your math stations ! I love them ! Great to see another male kindergarten teacher! How can I get the mats you use for the math centers - like the parking lot ? If I could purchase I would.
Unfortunately, I am not in the educational technology department, and when I moved districts, I lost all my digital copies. But here is a teacher website that also does that activity! teachmama.com/domino-parking-lot-dotty-counting/
Ooou I love watching math videos. I also make math videos but they tend to be more geared toward upper elementary. I completely agree about flexibility. There are so many strategies for solving math problems. I have been looking at starting math rotations. It still working out ideas. #newsubscriber. I love supporting fellow TH-cam teachers :)
Awesome Idea's. Where did you find all your recording sheet's (ex.the chenelle circle count)? Thanks again for the ideas, this will help my Special needs students.
Thank you so much for posting this video. I am a brand new teacher of students with disabilities desperate for viable ideas to use with my kids ages 5-7 during summer school. I settle on stations but really needed some differentiation. How do you do math for 45 minutes with kids who have a 3 second attention span????? This was very helpful. I also plan on using reinforcers as my kids have autism and they need the ABA reinforcement piece to stay on track.
I am so glad it was helpful! The ability to have free choice helps with attention. Also adding a “exit ticket” to the station will keep them from jumping around to every station without working.
First year teaching kindergarten, and this is the energy I have been looking for today! Love your vibe.. quick and to the point! Thank youuuu!
Thank you for the feed back!
