Robbie: MULTI AXIS VASES. First of all, it was a great video. It showed your tool work so well that I could see all the moves. I also understood every word you said. The project was also great. You make it look so "doable" that I think even I can do it. Thanks so much. Mark Hannum

Thank you Robbie. That is just an amazing project and reminds me of ancient Inca art.
I've made a few ordinary bud vases in the past and inserted plastic test tubes so they can hold a little water to keep something like a rosebud fresh for a while.
I'm glad you've come across Yuval Laval - he's doing some great work and I can only see a bright wood turning future for him.
    Many thanks,
    Alan.

Thank you Robbie for the shout-out!! like always I need a tip from someone to let me know, since I keep my vids for the weekend to watch, with the 3 kids out of school and out of summer camp, I'm their only entertainment this summer... I think I saw the same picture online somewhere and had to think for a little while, to get my head around to what I'm seeing and how it was all turned, and I really loved the symmetry, I even think I have it in my to do picture folder... it's fascinating to watch it unravel in your video, I will have to make a version of this for my wife's mother, she's blind, and love highly textured pieces, I will have to figure out something for texturing... Thanks you again for an amazing job (I still have a piece set aside for a 3 axis box or vase, for when I feel adventuress... I do have an idea for a small twist on the theme ;)!!

Yuval Lahav Thank you Yuval i try and give a shout out on all videos it helps the woodturning community. hey you enjoy your time with the nippers before you know it they be growing up and sending you off to the nursing home lol. yes a piece like this would be great for the blind plenty of shapes to let the mind run wild. i had this piece on my list for a number of years.the great thing about it is every piece is unique and bizarre. i think it would look good sitting on a mirror or some kind of platter mirror inserted in it. I better stop my brain is going crazy lol
      Thanks Robbie

Robbiethewoodturner No worries Robbie, let your mind wonder in my presence, we could benefit from some mixed ideas :) I think I will have to do the same project sometime soon too, I do have some very very nice looking bright mahogany plank just waiting to become something... my only short point is I don't have a band saw... I hope my table saw will be up for the job, even if I'll have to give away to dust a few more millimeters...

I intend to simply make some decorative wooden tiles for the wall. You did a wonderful job here. The vases look great and it's a pleasure to watch you turn. As a non native speaker a little hard to understand everything you say, though ;) However it sounds very pleasant. Thanks for sharing!!!
