Thanks for watching! 😃
Solid video! Even though, while watching it with my wife I questioned immediately why you didn’t open the manual, I could tell you had installed one before, just not that model. With that said we opened the manual and read the instructions and still put the left and right accordion bracket things in wrong lol, so there’s that! And without this video we wouldn’t have realized that they are not interchangeable, so thank you, it was a pain installing and almost gave up. Came to TH-cam and boom, switched them to the right side and everything went smoothly after that. Thank you!!!
For a short back story, we love down south and our AC went out, our AC guy won’t be able to fit us in for a new house unit install until next Thursday or Friday. We like it super cold at night, super cold. Our unit went out at 9pm tonight, finished the install thanks to your help a few minutes ago and will be able to sleep much much better tonight because sleeping in 80 degrees when we are spoiled = no sleep and a week of that, no thanks!!! So thank you for the video!
I like all the brackets that came with that one great safety features 👍 thx for another great video Matt
Great work, Matt. Nice and cool for the kids. 👶👶
Thank you for this helpful video i have the same AC but updated with the remote
Thank you!!!
Hi, there! This is Jermey McGuire. I’m giving you a helpful tip! Measure the window opening where the air conditioner goes into the window, then measure the a/c before you put the a/c into the window.
And make sure! You put a pease of wood between the window so no insects and moisture will not come into the room. You want a tight seal to keep the cold air in and hot air out and another tip the condensation side of the window a/c unit.”
Has to be tilted downward slightly, because you want the condensation to drain out of the air circulation. I hope this helps you on your install good luck!!! 👍🏼
I just the other day installed a Denali aire 5000 btu unit I got at Menards for 119 bucks that is pretty much identical to this one down to the side apron design and the side brackets. I wonder if it’s the same unit just rebranded. Only difference is some of the markings.
Maybe... I do really like the additions of the side brackets though. Makes it nice and secure!
@@thefixerhomerepair2 me too, same situation, in my daughters room, nice safety feature.
Exactly, I thought they looked the same.
I dont wanna drill into my window sill what do i do
Appreciate the video~! Just moved into my own apartment (all by myself!) and it's been a struggle getting things setup without being able to ask my father for assistance. This video definitely helped me in seeing where I was going wrong on the install. Thank you so much and great video~! ( ˶ˆᗜˆ˵ )
Does anyone here know how to take off the front panel, mine is leaking water inside even after being tilted , it looks like there is a bottom lip you can pull after taking out the two side screws but it's on there firm and don't want to break the cover
