Blackpink is a South Korean band, at the moment it is the most popular female group, they are known not only in Korea, but all over the world. In 2023, they became Coachella headliners. They also received the VMA Group of the Year award.
All that does not mean they are great they are well promoted.
YG Entertainment is the company where BLACKPINK is located, and they don't use a green screen, all the scenery is real. They use the green screen in a minimal amount, the only place where it is used to a greater extent in the Whistle clip. You can say Pink Venom is the most expensive Blackpink clip
The "Born Pink" album is a masterpiece. "Shut Down" is a song that features Liszt study on Paganini "La Campanella" which sounds similar to the Korean term for shut down.. So clever. "Tally" is great."Typa Girl" is my jam, despite being a 35 year old man.......
Yes, you nailed the interpretation of Jisoo's falling down scene. It's absolutely a commentary on how everyone treats artists, and even moreso Kpop/Jpop idols, because they are held to even more ridiculous standards than artists in the west. Have fun with the Blackpink rabbit hole, all their songs are bangers or bops. Literally no skips.

Note they are masked, note they have pistol grips on their camera phones. The toxic fans are looking to end her in her time of weakness, literally. Many Kpop Idols and actors have been driven to suicide by toxic fans on social media. Jisoo falls but gets back up ready to face the hate train from anonymous toxic fans on social/internet media and not cower and hide and not commit suicide. The whole song is one big FU to all their haters and they have many. Each of the members have experienced hateful social media attacks, with Lisa facing racist threats of physical violence so much so that the Thai embassy in S.Korea felt compelled to get involved. And BTW, Lisa is the most popular Kpop Idol in the world with over 100 million IG followers, and this is what happens to her.

Sorry but they are not the greatest female Kpop group. They are mediocre at best Mamamoo and many others are much better. They dont compose or write their own music. The are good performers but i would not even consider them artists.
It really just comes down to personal taste... I agree- mamamoo are amazing btw.
It is unusual to see haters in the comments. Blackpink is the biggest and best group and they have writing credits, choreo credits etc. Why come on a guys reaction and put down the group and promote another. Be normal and just request a song.
