OhHushTyela Maybe try Henna or lemon juice (when using lemon juice, you have to go out in the sun for your hair to lighten). There's even a lemon juice hair lightener called Sun In. I used it as a little girl and my results were good. :)
OhHushTyela Hey I dyed my hair and I did have to cut it because of the damage, but when you dye your hair you have to deep condition it all the time.. Now that's what I'm doing and it grew right back and it's still growing..

it's wild to me that you have an undercut/sides cut, but you still have a grip of hair on your head. haha.

When I was little, I always did this to myself. I did it as a stress reliever, like how some people bite their nakls. I never knew it was a hairstyle, all I knew was if I accidentally forgot to undo it, my hair got super curly

Thanks for a great video! I went out and got the two products you used and they worked much better than what I previously used (Herbal Essences mousse and naptural85's shea butter recipe). The curls are defined well and not frizzy. I'm loving Bantu knot outs now!
