It is physically impossible for English speakers to do anything close to a "real" Russian accent without learning their language before 14 - that is why critics universally celebrate and approve of using British actors (who are internationally famous and better historically educated/appreciative ) instead of doing some historically authentic Roman accent that literally no one would recognize or appreciate - or a cartoon soviet BS accents for Russians in things like in "The Death of Stalin". If you know British culture, they actually do a very good job of using appropriate British accents for each character - for instance, Stalin who was a country bumpkin from Georgia (not Russia) was given a Yorkshire accent in Death of Stalin to capture the character of his accent. Smart Americans are Anglophiles, and then there are "Irish Americans" xD
