- After finishing the collection for Smash Bros. on Wii U, I thought I was done with amiibo collecting. Little did I know that buying just ONE amiibo (not even from Smash Ultimate!) would have me back in the collecting game.
In this video, I take a look at 15 different amiibo, mainly from the new Smash Ultimate line, and get caught back up with the current lineup of amiibo figures.

@@C1aYalC oh no haha. Already have zero suit samus, Pac-Man and the Metroid dread double pack. So yeh already doubled the amount I had didn’t I haha! And deffo loving the quality of them.

My favourite amiibo is Greninja!
Greninja is definitely one of the cooler ones. This probably shouldn’t count but the Joker amiibo looks like it’s going to be really cool too

I somehow haven't managed to buy that many Amiibo. I guess my wallet is safe for now
I’ve probably bought enough for the both of us. Stopped buying games at one point because of these things. Limited functionality helps keep me away from some of the other series’ amiibo (Animal Crossing)

Hey there! So if you haven’t you can sign up for a 30 day trial of Prime for Amazon Japan - it’s treated differently than US/DE/UK etc… and then the shipping is free. Otherwise it always varies and changes daily. I honestly don’t remember what the shipping rate was when I ordered these but it wasn’t over $10 - I do know that much.

Ha, thanks! I wish the costumes/skins would make their way back into Mario Maker like they used to be. OG Mario Maker and Yoshi’s Woolly Word were probably the best use of amiibo.

I try to reply as often as I can to people :) So I had alerts setup for when listings for certain ones came up and were under a certain amount. Some I knew I couldn’t get for super cheap were ones like Ridley or K Rool. But even paying $12 for K Rool was better than paying $22+ for him here. I also made sure my alerts were focusing on ones that shipped to NA. It took a while to get them all together and that’s why there were so many boxes/separate shipments. Persistence pays off 😝

Haha yep, Amazon Japan! It took me a while to figure out the alerts and how to set them up, but there are different browser plugins that can do stuff like that for you 😀 it will be a slow process but in the end you’ll wind up saving a nice chunk of change!

Haha honestly I still hold a full time job and have ever since graduating college/university. Which allows me some spending money from time to time while taking care of everything else

What about the incineroar amiibo
Incineroar, Chrom, and Simon all released on 11/15/2019 which is roughly 25 days after I released this video (10/22/2019). So it wasn’t out yet, but they have all been added to the collection. Along with Dark Samus and Richter.

I am going to buy an amiibo to smash ultimate but i am a bit confused. Is the amiibo designed for the switch if it got that red box in the bottom left corner?
Hey there! amiibo aren’t made for a specific device, so any amiibo you buy will work on the Switch! As long as they are one of the Smash figures, you’ll be golden!

These came from various sellers on Amazon Japan - I had to make sure the ones would ship to the states.

I want to get a donkey kong amiibo that will work on my Nintendo switch and for the game super smash bros but when I look it up it comes with 2 different donkey kongs and I don’t know what one to get please help
There are 2 different Donkey Kong amiibo. One has a black base which is part of the Super Smash Bros line and one with a red base which is part of the Super Mario line. Either one will function exactly the same for Smash Bros. It just depends on which one you want. Also, if it’s cheaper for you, wherever you may be, to import the amiibo, it’s good to note that amiibo are not region locked. Which is why I am able to import the Japanese versions to use in North America.
