This is one of my favorite short stories. I listen to the version on the David Sedaris short story collection all the time. You read it really well, thanks so much.

Grazie, la tua voce è bellissima, a volte più bella della storia che leggi.

@@queeread i'm not sure if that's not a slight. i mean, is giorgio saying the cemetery story was sub par ? your reading puts me to sleep. is it called monotone ? you read better than i would 'cause first of all, i can't read english, and second, i have a heavy arab accent. have you considered reading out of the norton anthology of short fiction, and norton anthology of american literature ? have you considered commentaries ? for some reason, it is popular in the american heritage to write papers on the stories, as if there's not enough literature already

There is a short film called
    " The Funeral Photographer "
It's a very interesting view on what is real and what is not , also it is really well made .

The black tide is not racial ,
it's about the coal industry , economics and politics .
It is easy to despair but there is hope and that's were you come in .
The new generations is in dire need of education .
