Really enjoyed the video, would really love to see some game themed customs builds like elden ring/ cyberpunk pc etc. it might be a bit niche but i think it would be a cool series where the pc can match the aesthetic of the game whiles also being well optimised to play the game. idk if that’s possible but would be interesting.
I'm kinda done with aquarium builds and as a Gen-Xer, that case reminds me of an 8-Track stereo I once had lol, love the wood accents, it's a great etro look
Great Build: I am happy to see my 5800X3D is providing similar FPS coupled with the 3060TI. I am riding out the AM4 Platform so love to see how it holds up in CPU bound games against newer builds. Keep up the great work!
Oh I actually really like that case. The build is awesome too. I got a pretty old MSI Codex 100R case that’s not only looking dated but only really built with mega rgb in mind.

I think this PC is bad value - a 7700XT for a $1200 build in 2024 is not good IMO. You also didn't get a 700W psu which is the min. suggested wattage by AMD for the 7700 XT
That Antec case is very nice. I will keep an eye out for it when it comes available in my country. My only issue is there is one than one Antec case that i like.
94% cpu usage in Fortnite. In Battlefield 2042 with 128 players it will be unplayable. 6 Cores are not enough anymore. We need Ryzen 5 with 8 cpu cores at least.

He called it a complete flop.He said the 7700X is much better for about the same amount and for $100 more you could just get a 7700X3D the best gaming CPU on the market. Other reviewers have concluded the same.
We don’t disagree, and that’s why at the end we recommended most people buy the 7600/7700x for this build unless they are watching months in the future where prices will be different

Nice build! But those AIO tubes are pretty long and really close to those front mounted fans. I would have moved the AIO radiator to the front and relocated the front fans to the top. But that's just me being OCD.
You can use amds software to monitor as well afterburner hardly works for me so I just use that when on amd also I have a thermalright aio will say you're not going to constantly be in the 30s but my CPU hasn't seen 70c yet if your room is cold it'll stay real cool though you definitely dont need to worry about your CPU overheating unless you messed up
Is Warzone a connection point for where the bullet hits rather than Battlefield being more of an actual bullet needing to travel and hit the target? Let me know if that makes sense lol just noticed more difficulty with sniping it seems on this game for you.

It's the built in FPS counter in Steam in high contrast mode. Unfortunately, the only way to make it larger is to reduce the resolution. But the 7700XT is a great 1440p card, so reducing to 1080p to make the FPS counter larger would be a shame.

Are you sponsored by Segotep? Because it's a no-name ticking time bomb, their psu are being sold where I'm from rebranded at higher markup price in same price range where you can buy a well known reputable psu with lots of reviews to back it up.
Something you should consider that most other FPS games don't, but Battlefield is notorious for, is bullet drop. If you're using a sniper and not hitting your shots, it's because COD/Fortnite tactics don't typically work in BF games. You have to account for the drop, hence the lines on the sniper scope. Granted 2042 is a shtshow.
You guys used to be good but now youre giving in to the sponsorships and its annoying. nobody would pair a 9600x with a 7700xt especially for gaming. and also the 650W segotep tier c psu in a $1200 build. also idk about the time of recording but that 1tb ssd is $90 and barely pcie 4.0 you can get the same performance or better for $60 Edit: the $90 is from newegg but still at $66 you could get something faster from a more reputable brand

I use the AMD software for fps monitoring. Sometimes temps don’t display but fps feels on point
I've ran it along side msi afterburner out of curiosity and fps is always consistent between the two, unless you got amd frame Gen on ofc

You guys are able to use the AMD overlay in the AMD software or the NVIDIA overlay by pressing alt-z then choosing what to monitor
Unreal engine 5 direct X 12 games for benchmarks would help out, since pretty much all the new games coming out are going to be on URE5.
