Yoooo you are an absolute beast for this! No one gives Bobby the credit due as a guitar player. His parts were actually quite complicated on a lot of tracks. He just plays so perfect with Jerry his sound get mixed right in to the music. GREAT WORK!!!!
Watching this, all I could do was “Smile, smile, smile!” Thanks for covering some early psychedelic Dead, amazing job as usual!! Fun to watch you dissect it bar by bar, love how you nail all the slides and hammer-ons, classic Weir.
Thanks for spotlighting this performance. Lesh is a MONSTER here as well and is out front in the mix, Garcia is loud on that SG, throw in the two drummers and it’s not easy to suss out everything Weir is doing but he’s vital to the song.
I would like to request Bobby Dupree's. I can guess some of his voicings. Jerry plays a melody type line which sorr of dominates things for a lot of the song...
Awesome video bro! Aye I was thinking what would be a helpful cool video would be are just some Bobby inversions for basic chords. So not so much a song lesson but a video giving some of his classic inversions of chords that give that bobby sound people can implement into their own playing. That would be sweet

I spent lots of time working with you on this. Thank you so much. You are a GREAT teacher. I owe you BIG!
Mickey, you're a tremendous resource to heads worldwide. Must feel pretty good! Thank you brother! Grateful for it!
Awesome watching you play that!
You are the man! Thanks brutha!
I’m new here, and kind of new to the Dead, but I just wanted to say thank you so much for making these videos! They bring me much joy

I can hear the same lines you’re humming/singing, but then to see you immediately play them note-for-note is cool
If someone were to do a tutorial on Weir's parts on DARK STAR from this era ...
And maybe someone could do a tutorial on “The Eleven”!!
You are so amazing 👏 thanks 😊we really appreciate all you do
Love it Brah!
More Bobby than Bobby himself
Been waiting for you to cover this. A few spots had me stumped. Looking forward to diving in! Love that you started with a full demo too.

Yeah it’s hard to hear him in the mix in that one…was gonna hammer out dozin at the knock version
