- We have a new airline in town, and we just had to try it! Unfortunately it only flies from Charleston Airport 2 hrs. south of us. Was the 2 hr. drive worth it? Watch to find out!

Nice honest review, Steve and Sue. So many of the more budget friendly airlines only fly out of the smaller airports. Southwest began that way. Saving money is great but the nickel and diming can add up. But, if you play by the rules you can save money. Don't care for delays but the retired life is good. We got no place to go and all day to get there! Thanks for the review.
So true...great to not always be pressed for time! We are going to try them again in March especially since they came through with their promise and gave each of us a flight credit of $50! Merry Christmas! Thanks for watching!

Nice job. Thanks. I plan to fly them on new service from Tampa (TPA) to Portland, Maine (PWM). I'm not a fan of connecting flights and their new route gives me an opportunity for a quick 3 hour non-stop.
That is why we now fly them to Long Island...nonstop all year round! I think that is going to be their niche.... to connect smaller airports where you can fly non-stop. Thanks for watching and have a great flight!

I flew Delta from Dallas Texas to Salt Lake Utah with a connecting flight in Denver Colorado only to be informed Delta crew was not available 😮. We were bused into Denver a 30 minute drive for a free overnight stay in a Hyatt hotel caught the next flight the following day. So a 4 hour and 30 minute delay isn't bad compared to an overnight delay
That's a good story! We had something similar a few years ago on an American flight from New Jersey to Florida. It was an evening flight and they couldn't find a crew so they had to sit in the airport until 5:00 a.m. and then they flew us to Florida. No hotel for us! From my experience they weren’t terrible it’s quite clear that they’re new to the game. I flew im them from LAX-RIC. It was delayed like heck but I expected it. They have a small fleet small staff (compared to other airlines) and the specific route I have is brand new. So for the time being I’ll make an exception.
Plus it’s low cost you get what you pay for. I may fly them back for the convenience of nonstop tbh. But in the end I’d say from my experience 6/10. Not the worst but DEFINITELY needs to improve.
We agree with you and that's why after this flight we flew them a second time (it was better) and plan to fly them for a 3rd time this August! What we like is they have daily flights to Long Island while Frontier only has 3 flights a week. Thanks for watching and safe travels!
That was a fair evaluation. I appreciate that. In all fairness to Breeze Airlines, some delays are beyond their control, especially weather problems or lack of gate capacity or air bridges malfunctioning. Some delays are caused by the airport itself. On the other hand , they need to keep passengers informed promptly of delays and why. Other delay that is inexcusable is when a plane is canceled because the crew is timed out (because of these delays) and not allowed to fly the plane out. Of course some delays are caused by the Feds Traffic Control issues or forcing good experienced pilots to retire because of age regulations.
All so very true! To be honest we are sometimes amazed at how well the system works. We just flew from Calif-->Pheonix--> Charlotte--> Myrtle and we even checked our bags. Everything was on time and the bags made it too! Thanks for watching and for leaving input! Cheers!

if your flight delayed from 30 minutes to 4 hours the airline should of gave you a complimentary soda, or coffee and a snack of choic and or refund your ticket for the delay

AVOID this airline if you need to be somewhere. I scheduled my flight from Orange County CA to Orlando FL more than a month in advance for a cruise ship vacation. Then today, a few weeks before the trip, I get an email saying that "we made a change to your flight" and now it's giving me a bad schedule when the cruise ship is at sea. I had to cancel for a refund. But the worst part of it is that with my super busy work schedule, this is wasting my time to research and re-book with another airline! I knew that "low budget" airlines are nothing but trouble, but I thought I would give Breeze a chance because I could get their "nicest" seat which is a pretend 1st class. I have never before had an airline change the booking on me like this without some unexpected weather or air traffic control event. Breeze is UNRELIABLE I am learning from other reviews. I learned my lesson again to avoid the stupid budget airlines.
Sorry to hear this happened to you! What a pain in the A$$! We have noticed that other airlines are changing booked flights left and right too. Frontier is another airline that we have seen this, and even our scheduled flights on American for this spring have been change three times since we booked them. And, the changes made it impossible to make our connecting flights so we had to call and change them...twice! Now we did give Breeze a second chance and that video comes out this Friday. @@TravelwithNJSteveandSue Thanks! It's my mistake, I forgot the lesson "you get what you pay for" and anything that has the phrase "low cost" or "budget" is a higher risk for resulting in disappointment. I learned my lesson (again).
@@ddbear8786 You are so right! Just today Frontier Airlines, another budget carrier, cancelled my 2 flights scheduled for June. Ugh!
When you fly an airline that has a fleet of 29-35 aircraft you better expect LONG delays when something goes wrong. They have no spare equipment like the majors do. Nor extra crews ready to go. You get what you pay for.

DO NOT FLY BREEZE. They left my old, disabled grandparents at the airport without any accommodations. They made it to the airport in time, were not sent a wheelchair, and were told to wait at the airport for 2 days until the next flight

Hi both I love how you give full information that's truthful . I did love the blue planes of Breeze Airways and I liked the A220 one and I liked the way that they described the level of seats :) The airport lounge was nice where you could watch the planes, but wow 4 hours is a big delay without a complimentary soda ! At least it was only 30 mins on the way back ! That was interesting to hear about :) ~ Anna

I’ve heard terrible things about Breeze, including from someone who was involved in them starting operations. This person left that train wreck quickly.

Show us how to pack with personal only item.
We do it with a small backpack which is within the airlines size for a personal item. Then we figure out exactly what we need for the trip, and then we roll all our clothes. The rolling of the clothes seems to be the key to fit what we need. Any bulky items, we wear on the plane! Thanks for watching and for the question!
