That's on par with Honda reliability...I had my Honda sit for 5 weeks back in 2018 in the middle of summer. My mom picked me up from the airport in it and I drove it home haha My Berlingo has same engine
DW8 is a LOUD engine, mate. Like guy above said, it's an engine from small truck Berlingo, that French somehow put inside a B class... Quite rare version, an automotive curiosity really. Car feels like a truck, but is very reliable, and has great torque. With good anti-corrosion paint of 206' chassis, this car can last forever. :)
@@factornegative275 what is the ACU? my dw8 radiator fan never ever switches on, temp needle goes up to 90c momentarily, then the thermostat opens and the temp goes down to 80c. Which is halfway on the needle clock, engine always feels cold under the bonnet.
@@gewizz2 In 1999 DW8s had no electronic control unit (ECU sorry :P), mine does, so it has its' moods. But I've built system override with a length of cable and a switch :) so I can cool down engine while waiting in traffic jam, if computer fails.

@@factornegative275 oh right, so the 206 1.9d is rare and a good practical car. I have the dw8 myself. In 1999 citroen dispatch.
@@gewizz2 Mine is 2003 206, DW8b with stupid ACU thing, and common cooling fan failures :P
