i think the problem is that it is a colorless card that already only benefits a minority of decks. its hard to be at a shop at the time you want it, need it more than anything else at the shop, and also have enough gold for it all at the same time. Here's to a fantastic run where all of those happened though!
Update: I actually got a fairly similar structure with a much thicker deck and was eventually able to use 1 concentrate and 1 setup to power an infinite, instead of Forethought. That's one reason to take sneaky strike even with grand finale, it's +2 energy if it costs 0!
I had Forethought+ from a merchant due to toxic egg on Watcher the other day and though I had 20~ish cards in deck it was able to thin down to an infinite because of Forethought+ but it proved too slow to beat Donu and Deca. Also, have you noticed the entirely identical shops which show up in your runs sometimes Baalor? In this run the shop where you picked up Forethought reappeared, I believe, at the beginning of act 4. And in a Defect run video I watched the other day you picked up the second Prismatic Shard that was offered at another such identical repeated shop. This contradicts the information I've heard about only seeing a relic once per run, and I've been unable to find out anything about this curious phenomenon.
I loved the Masterful Stab finish! What an enjoyable run. It is so satisfying hearing and seeing your big brain at work when you play with a Grand Finale deck.

Knowing exactly where a high cost card is and making it 0 cost is super powerful if you have good card draw. Imagine that but with ragnarok or meteor strike and with forethought+ doing it to as many as you want?!

its funny, i played this game for a very long time like 2 weeks after coming out on pc, always been pretty decent, but i did a test a couple days ago because i have game pass on my xbox and its on there as well ran 6 games side by side in a row so a total of 12 6 on my pc 6 on my xbox and for the test did all of them on accention 5 and well they made the game easier on console somehow maybe because console is more casual but won all 6 on my xbox won only 3 on my pc, and it was a shame i kept losing to heart on my pc kept beating it on my xbox
