@@nuggnugg8464 it’s very faithful to the original without being a 1:1 adaptation. It certainly elicits and captures the same emotions for me while playing.
@@matheusklawa3408 it is beautiful! But I wouldn’t say overcomplicated. Maybe a little fiddly, but I’ve got 900 hours in the digital version so I’m used to everything being automated like I’m sure a lot of people are. I love the tactile nature of board games though and there’s just something about drawing a card reward in your hands versus seeing it on screen that speaks to me! Thanks for watching!
We played as a group of 4, and one of us didn't played digital version before. That person picked watcher, and had a good time. Of course we helped with mechanics, but watcher player said that rules was not hard to understand
@@erickthomas6133 I’ve got to say I agree! Even though a lot of cards and relics do different things from the digital game, most of them still fill the same function and make sense within this framework. We just won’t talk about the nerf Apotheosis took. Haha.
@@erklarvideosmathe2416 wow, not sure how I missed that in the rules considering that’s how the digital works too. Thanks! And Tiny House gives a card upgrade!
looks like a great table top recreation of slay the spire

@ I love when other people have a great time with one of my favorite games! A wonderful testimony in favor of the game design.

For boss relics you can choose 1 of 3 choices. And when you beat the boss you’re supposed to get a rare card reward
I just found that out! haha. I'll remember for Act 3 because I already filmed Act 2! Thanks for the heads up!
43:27 You are actually allowed to choose 1 out of 3 boss relics. And why are you upgrading the Rupture at the end?
