I will forever be grateful to this man for re-introducing me to that label and letting me find acts like arcando and jeonghyeon. I admit I still took them as releasers of cheesy outro music but they have been of quality more and more so compared to their come up years. The classics will forever be classics, but this modern stuff should not be tainted by their past whatsoever.

Not their best year, but not their worst either. Honestly wherever this channel goes, I’ll be there for the ride. (Also thanks for giving NCS a chance in the spotlight. I’ve listened to it as much as I did back in 2016)
I couldn't agree more with what you said at the beginning, I barely found myself checking for new stuff besides names that I follow for a long time. But I found some new artists, and your channel helped to get to know some of them. I think Dead Man Walking will take the Song of the year for me, but there's a couple ones here that will make top 10. I feel bad for Pixel Terror being split now, they had some really heavy hitters in the works last year, it could make monstercat a little more interesting for me.

honestly feeling the same about mcat, I suddenly grew into riddim a LOT like 8 months ago after not liking it at all before, and ever since I really grew off mcat.
i also lost interest in monstercat this year albeit in a slightly different way - it had been a personal goal of mine to land a release there since 2016, but stuff like the mobil1 partnership and darlington going off the crypto deep end just left a really bad taste in my mouth. regardless, i rlly enjoy seeing your videos and discovering new music and i'm excited to see what direction 2023 takes u ^x^ cheers

This year was definitely monstercats weakest year in a while, i'd say sense halfway through 2021 about 90% - 95% of MC songs are mid or worse. I hope that MC can return to even a shadow of their former self from the golden era. On a lighter note though; Grit, limitless, and Fly are banger songs top 3 of this year for me

monstercat was very hit or miss this year, but when they hit, they HIT HARD. i for one can’t wait to see where silk goes next year!
