I rode this trail over 4 times a week, mostly by myself, for about a year, I start at 6 or 6:30 AM year around, I am 63, #1 in my age group on Strava. I do the loop non stop, and it feels like going through battle, you have a buzz almost all day. I cant believe others don't do the same. Once or twice a week a buddy joins me, he lives out of the area and gets up 3:30 Or 4:00 to beat traffic and meet up. He likes Sawpit better, since it is longer, so we do that. It is fantastic too.
Get up early, you can ride everyday , and you get your work over earlly.
Hahaha love my cameo
Hahaha the man knows what he likes.
That just made me bust out laughing that was amazing
Hah that ending was my favorite
LOL OMG in typical BKXC style.
BKXC is the best👍🏻👍🏻
1:47 is my favorite part of the trail. Steep with exposure on both sides. Great video.
Braille is one of my all time favorite trails. I got over the flow trail after about 3 weeks straight on it
I wish I could have hit it at least one more time!
my favorite trail at Demo!!
I’m new to your channel but it gives me so much adrenaline already! I went out today and bought my first ever mountain bike. I can’t stop riding it on my streets but I am going to start going on dirt trails!
Welcome to this amazing sports. Your bank account will hate you, but that's ok! Have fun and get out there!
THAT'S RAD! So happy you're getting some inspiration from the channel -- that's what it's about! Have fun shredding the new bike man.
Thanks man. Means a lot. Do you have any advice for starting dirt trails because I’m not used to riding MTN bikes
Well, IMO the best thing you can do is getting involved with a group of other riders, so contact your local shops and ask about beginner group rides. Beyond that, work on getting to know your bike and how it reacts in a non-trail setting. So find a patch of dirt somewhere and try the brakes; get a feel for how much force it takes to lock up your front or rear wheel; practise the ready and attack position. There are some great channels here on TH-cam that cover the basics, like Skills With Phil and Seths Bike Hacks. Take it step by step and you'll progress quickly!
THANKS! Helped me out a lot. I live next to a woods so tomorrow I’m going to go around there. I know it like the back of my hand!
My new favorite MTB youtuber. Love that your from Alberta!
Thanks Kalin! How about that beautiful springtime weather hey? haha
Haha what a treat we've had this year! I've heard Invermere is G2G if your itchin' for some dirt nearby.
I don't see how you got the energy to ride back up suffer springs and ride that after flow. I was so dead after flow from our ride the day before. LOL. Good Stuff man!
Haha ya I was clearly feeling it! I couldn't go ten feet without my hands or legs telling me to cease and desist :D
Suffer springs 😂
That trail looks like great fun! Good work
Thanks! I was bagged by the time I hit this trail so I'd like to try it again with fresh arms/legs haha
"What is this...". Love it, keep the great videos coming!
Grant Feddema haha thanks man!
wow that looks soo much fun, that Pole picks up speed like a motorbike!
Going into corners freaks me out sometimes because it feels like I'm on a rocket ship haha It's taken some getting used to! So much fun though.
That's what mountain biking is all about!
Intro music had me slappin my knee and lookin for a spitoon!
Break out the moonshine!
Bike looks awesome 👏🏻 👍🏻
Thanks man! It's riding awesome lately 🤘🏼
Nice! I want to hit demo forest!
Yes you do! I'll be back, for sure.
those sweet pivot bikes at the start :0 :)
Ya there were a few of them up there! Super nice bikes.
The pole is pretty sick
It's been rad so far!
Awesome!
Dude, you are really selling me this POLE 140 now... I'm all set for a Cruz Tallboy but damn that bike is sweet.
Haha well, you can't go wrong with either of those bikes. They'll handle pretty differently from each other though! I hear Pole is doing a demo tour soon, so maybe you'll have a chance to try one out.
Ahah a Demo run would be awesome. I doubt they'll show up in Eastern Canada tho. As for the ride style, the Pole is way more of a DH than the TB, i'm more single trail/tech than DH/EN so it might be a better option. Until i check your bloody videos again... damnit.
You'd be surprised! It's a damn fun trail bike. They make a 131mm version as well that would be even better suited to trail/XC yet still has the aggressive angles. I'll bug Pole and see if they have any plans to get out east.
How do you like it? I'm looking for a lot of feedback before committing. Also, that Pole 131 is awesome. I'm not a big fan of RockShock in general tho. Much prefer Fox forks.
hmm interesting. 110 to the rear is not enough then? The Hightower gets you 140 on 17.5+... that's a big jump... also 2k$ extra... I wonder if its that necessary unless you're always going downhill tho.
Liked the shorter intro music on this one compared to the previous video..... ride looked awesome!
VERY nice to own this
LOL, BK is a man of strong opinion.
Clearly haha
I don't ride bikes or even like them but this channel makes my ass cheeks clinch every time...
Ha! Is that a good thing?
How long have you been ridding?
Arizona Timeless Tourist I've been riding off and on since I was a teenager, but I only really got back into riding consistently about 4 years ago.
After that ride down I would be so bummed if I had to bike back up.
Haha yup, after that we had a pretty big pedal up just to get back to the parking lot.
Hello, I'm a new member of your channel, because I love to ride a bike. I have a question, do you want to know the trails in Brazil? Or have you ever been to Brazil?
Thanks for checking out the channel! I haven't been to Brazil but I would love to go sometime.
Hahaha. The ending.
->What's the music?
Al :D it's just a track I got off of Epidemic Sound (music library for video creators).
Hey bro, I'm starting downhill MTBing with a hardtail. Any tips before getting out on the trails?
Nice! I'm not sure where you're at for skill level, but start small and work your way up. Hardtails are super fun but also a lot harder on your body, so warm up and stretch before riding any gnarly stuff and your legs/back will thank you :) Get out there and ride!
Thank you so much! I will be sure to do that before my rides, thanks!
Ok, Thanks! very helpful.
Yes. Get a full suspension bike lol
Hit Braille and flow a few days ago. I rode flow first. Awesome trail. Then I rode Braille...damn. That trail is gnarly. I was on a hardtail and...it wasn’t super pleasant.
Suspension seems a bit still and the bike seems like you really have to man handle it. Im looking at the 2018 nomad alu version with upgraded suspension.
You can tell that from a POV cam? Damn haha. It's quite active on the trail actually and that fork is like butter. The bike likes speed though, so the faster you go, the peppier it feels.
Have you ever visited nepal?
Socks are for roadies! Lol ;)
Haha do you ride without socks too?
The Loam Ranger I wish...my swampy ass feet def need socks lol!
Hello!!!
Yo!
The brakes are squeaking still but great video
Ya they were driving me a bit nuts. I'm finding out the hard way that Hope brakes just tend to squeak a lot!
Arms tired from Braille (2:22 in your video, I watched it all and subscribed to your channel)? I was just there this past weekend and had none. I have NO financial interest in this company, but it has bee one of the single best improvements to my riding comfort and reduction in pain. I wont link bomb, but just google Revolution Suspension Grips (RevGrips). Yes, they are $60-100 but whats your comfort worth? Replacements are only $25 and they have a money back guarantee. Check it.
