    It's unreal. I think it's a bit stingy to give us 1200 rather than say 3000 for the $10. I feel like 100 per day is easily burned through.

      I get it, we were spoiled during the free beta. I keep telling myself it’s got to cost a lot to run all that compute so $10 a month isn’t too much.

    I have one song where Udio AI mispronounced the line "I'm just looking in" as "I'm just worskin in", and since that line was in the chorus, repeated that mistake 4 more times. I was able to fix the first instance through inpainting, but after that inpainting just resulted in gibberish, or a different line from the chorus being repeated, plus I couldn't even scroll far enough to the end of the lyric to fix all the instances even if it had worked. Catchy as that song is, it's gonna have to wait until the inpainting tool improves.

    • @albertodonda5994

      you can use an audio editor to fix this problem. Better if after splitting voices from music with some free AI tool online (for example BandLab splitter). That's the way I do with success. Of course your fixed song will not be ready on Udio site, this way. Depends on what use you want to have...

    I hope to find an explanation of how to change key when inpainting an instrumental track. Where to put the asterisks... I know that entering [C#] (for instance) in front of an inpainted word or line - that can do it. But, when there are no lyrics?

    It’s also impressive that the vocals corrected the misspelling (meancholy instead of melancholy)
    I didn’t quite get why you had to go through the one with the two repeated lines

    • @ThaebrymMedia
      @ThaebrymMedia  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That is impressive. As far as the double line, I wasn’t able to change both lines at the same time. That’s why once the 1st line is corrected there are 2 identical line.

    I want to upload the end of one song and the start of another song. And then inpaint the type of things I want to hear (possibly spoken word too) Can inpaint do this? Or it just for fixing lyrics? I'm considering subscription if it can. I need audio for the movie I am working on.

    After playing with Udio for a few hours the other day I was kind of hooked.
    Unfortunately the thing completely went off the rails quickly and every "auto" extension just piled tons and tons of lyrics on top (probably a bug) and it absolutely could not handle what it was generating.
    It ended up incoherently skipping over large chunks of unwanted lyrics...lyrics that I didn't want anyway...and tripping over itself.
    The next morning I saw the new inpainting function and thought I had somehow missed it (not knowing that it was literally a new feature) Lol
    So, I sprung for the $30/month plan hoping that I can fix some of these accidental errors without spending quite as much time doing it all inside my DAW.

    • @ThaebrymMedia
      @ThaebrymMedia  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    • @joelake7986
      @joelake7986 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I've learned to rarely use the auto extension, and if I do use it, don't expect much. But I'm using Udio to make my own songs that I've had accumulating in my songbook going back over 40 years, so I'm inputting my own lyrics. But even then, Udio AI sometimes tries to add in random gibberish. Usually I keep it on the Custom tab and put in instructions like [Guitar solo] or [Instrumental intro].

    • @KeithPhillips
      @KeithPhillips 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @joelake7986 so I've been having a lot better luck by just using Remix on the first segment (before it went off the rails) and setting the Variance slider all the way left and just thinning out the extra stuff and using Custom lyrics going forward with only the material that I wanted 👍

    I'm was hoping AI in-painting could be used to clean up old, lo-fi recordings and maybe experiment with different drums for existing compositions. I don't EVER want it to compose a melody line for me, that would be too humiliating, but I want to use it the way I use automatic accompaniment on a keyboard.
