thanks! Ours went bad (passenger side) the other day (wouldn't go back up, assumed broken cable and it was) Frustrated on this money pit 2014 Pathfinder and wasn;t looking forward to going to a mechanic/dealer. Looked up the part, found it for $100 on Amazon and 2 days later taking apart door and replacing. It works fine. Thanks for your excellent quality video, and tools used. your video took me from "OMG this is a big job taking the door apart to seeing > Oh, it's easy to do. SUGGESTIONS for others: make sure you have $5 harbor freight (or wherever)suction grip holder; it'll make it easier and safer. The last thing you need is a window falling down and breaking.
I had a 2019 and a 2020 Pathfinder and both of them had the same problem with the drivers electric window going very slow when the weather was cold. I even had the 2019 window controller replaced, cost almost $1000 but it didn’t work because it’s a design flaw that should’ve been recalled, but just like Ford, Nissan chose to screw the customer and save money by not doing the recall.
The fix is to buy a 2022 where they quietly fixed the problem. As far as I know, they never developed new parts that cures the problem in existing Pathfinders.
My passenger-side window will not stay up it keeps sliding down not sure how far it will go because I will keep pushing it up. Sounds as if the motor is good so should I start by replacing the regulator? If so, any recommendations on getting the part? Thanks
I have a 2016 Pathfinder SV...How many hours should I expect to be charged for this repair if I choose to take it to my local car glass place (I know the dealer will rip me off)?? You made it look like an hour long job...but I know it would take me 3+ hours...!!
does it make any sound? crunching, grinding sound would be the regulator. No sound might be the motor or the switch. Bring it down to Florida, I'll check it out
Drill a few holes to get access to the bolts OR if you're sure its the regulator thats the problem you can cut the metal cables, OR drive it down to Florida, I'll check it out.

My 2018 Nissan Pathfinder drivers door power window sometimes doesn’t work. Should I replace the regulator or the motor?
usually has been the window regulator
Excellent

What ended up fixing your problem? Having the same issue... even stopped going up until it warmed up.
Same problem, 2019. Any fix?

Should only take 45-60 minutes
What if window is stuck and not coming up. Please advise

I have put it all back together. Window goes up very slow, gets up halfway, then goes back down. But doesn't go completely down still a half inch show
might just need an adjustment at the bottom of the glass where the guides are. Also, a OEM Nissan part will work better.
Having issue with the window. Window s down and will not go up. How do I raise the the to get to the screws?
