- We will take a step back now and learn more about the Litany, the Codified Laws of the Garou Nation. We will cover the first half of the Litany here, as well as discuss why the need for them arose, and under what circumstances they matter the most.
Like the Kindred of Vampire: the Masquerade, the Garou of Werewolf: the Apocalypse must keep their existence secret to humanity, lest they bring the full force of mankind's wrath upon them.

Let us not forget the second set of rules known as the "Runs-Like-Hell list of things not to do in the Garou nation". It was a set of rules made by the community that was more for Comedy but still a big part of the early years of the game

I love the use of "Garou-born" rather than the incredibly tonedeath original term.

@@trentonfox The term "Metis" is one based on "mixed race interbreeding" fears of yesteryear. Depending on how mixed you were decided how what the term you were applied. This also had the effect of basing a person's "humanity" on the degree of how dark their skin was. Terms such as "the n-word" were, and are, clearly dehumanizing, as are plenty of other terms differentiating people based on the archaic concept of "race". As we are all humans, making arbitrary distinctions that do not serve to advance our society is not healthy for anyone (that is to say "Black Lives Matter" is a good concept, but labelling an *individual* as "BAME" is not).
Compounding that, calling the diease, madness, and mutation prone children of a societally forbidden pairing the same term used to dehumanize the perfectly normal and equally beautiful children from a black skinned human and a white skinned human pairing shows an amount of ignorance on the part of the original developers.
Granted, the term "Metis" largely has such a negative connotation in North America, specifically USA. Europeans and other cultures may have stricter or more lax opinions on race.

EDIT: also say "garou-born" all you want, but 90% of the tribes will still spit on the face of any metis the come face with, specially if it's a silver fang or a lord of shadows, and gaia forbid some blood claws end up having an affair and a metis.
Hell, their sign of the end of the world is a metis that is NOT a genetic freak of nature

I’ve always wondered how most tribes would treat a werewolf who befriends or even romantically engages with a vampire. Would it break the litany rule of fighting the wyrm wherever it dwells? Would they simply be outcasted or possibly hunted down and executed for such behavior?
The Warriors of life cannot stand the children of death.
A werewolf may bear dealing with a child of Cain but to mix with them would be unacceptable let alone love with them.
To deal with the spawn of Cain is like welcoming the Wyrm.
I would love to see a video about the mekhet and the morbus
