    I love how pedestrians and vehicles cooperate and get out of your way!!!
    1:30 Although it was pretty funny how one van "got out of your way" by crossing the road IN FRONT OF YOU before pulling to the side.

      @@benrichardson7487 I think he pulled a bit of a fast one... he turned the lights and sirens completely off once he got about 200 yards from his depot.
      I was initially going to say something like, blue light there and back so that you can crack on with the next job, but then the above became apparent near the end of the video.

      @Ben Richardson I would say that he was possibly driving illegally on the way back, and really should edit this video before he gets in the shit. In the end he turns his siren off just before he drives through a red light. However, us mere mortals would call this dangerous driving at the end.

    Do you only run the wail? We always switch to Yelp approaching junctions and keep the wail on on the longer stretches.

      im not a blue light driver or anything but I've saw a few of his videos and think thats the only tone he has on his bike. correct me if I may be wrong I'm not too sure it's just a guess.

      I take your point, James, but even Belfast has good summers on occasion. I remember in April/May 2017, there were over two weeks where we had no rainfall whatsoever!

    Bit of a "walt" using the B&2's on the way back. Its not classed as a emergency

      They often do urgent runs back to back. There's a very good chance that something will be waiting as soon as he gets back. I'm sure the man knows what he's doing🤦‍♂️

    Not trying to be funny in anyway shape or form, but of the few videos I've watched of yours, you only seem to run this one route and from what you seem to be carrying doesn't warrant the use of blues & twos to me, but I could be wrong.

    • @AntonyLoveless
      @AntonyLoveless  3 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      Depends on traffic, but the route taken in the videos is generally quickest. We’re never told what we’re carrying, but the blood bank we operate from tells us if blues and twos are required, and if we’re the only bike operating, we always use blues and twos for the return, as another urgent run is often waiting for us.

  • @gingertom45
    @gingertom45 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Not good to be leaving the bike running unattended

    • @AntonyLoveless
      @AntonyLoveless  3 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      It’s called run lock... you leave the engine running with blues on, so it doesn’t drain the battery, and it enables a quick get away, but if anyone gets in (cars and trucks have it too) and tries to ride or drive off without the key, the engine cuts out as soon as the clutch is released.
