I've had my 2000 TR21 since new. One feature it has that this new design doesn't is the center deck storage is divided into two section. I can sit on the deck and access all my tackle storage in the longer box between the rod lockers. I would recommend that two boxes is better than one.. IMO. Triton boats are awesome, and I'm glad to see the larger battery compartment with easy access to the pumps for live wells, etc. Thanks for the tour, DC!
As a long time Triton owner, it's good to see them really give thought to what fisherman need. When Triton came out with the XRT, I just felt like they were almost done and wasn't concerned about their future but this XP model would have me thinking about another Triton when it's time to retire the 21-HP. Mine is a 2011 model with the same Merc 250 and she still looks and runs great. My only complaint is the old touch-pad system, I'm constantly having issues and this past week the deck lights turned on and will not turn off, I'm sure it has something to do with the touch-pad. You're lucky to have Dustin as a representative of your brand. I met him today and he was such a nice young man and went above and beyond.
Would really like to see those lines closer!! Saying they put years plans to overhaul? Looks really close to the legend lines to me! And if I’m not mistaken didn’t ole Johnny M buy them out to shit them down?😂
might be ordering one and trading in a ranger!! great video DC!! will poles, oar, and longer lure retrievers fit in starboard box? any place online to see inside the compartments? eta to order and receive one?
Agree. This is a premier boat? Those rod straps will dry rot in just a couple of years. Also, those rocker switches are also a cost cutting measure as well
@@markcrater4891 Phoenix uses rockers. Idk.. I'd rather have that than any touch screen. I've had touch screens in boats.. horrible experience. Plus, they get outdated very quickly.
My 2003 Triton tr21 has bigger live wells, bigger gas tank, and samw set up, and I bet it goes faster then this. The rocker switches while work, are extremely ugly, and they reversed the stripe. My next boat is a falcon. Nothing new with this rig compared to any other boat. Even the day boxes up front. Legend has that in 2013😂
Smart man when we built them in Ashland city it was a great boat now its just a nitro so if ya want a real bass boat come see us at caymas boats in Ashland city
The rubber bungee is the best. Doesn’t hang in hooks like the cloth expensive shit.. I own a BassCat anyway and I specifically put the rubber bungee on my boat. 2023 also.
Wow they must really be desperate. Its so sad Triton has become the black sheep of white river marine group. If the average consumer could see what the manufacturer is actually paying for material then The White River Marine Group Big Three would be the cheapest boats on the market. This next point goes for the ikon as well, when you take a bunch of features and innovations from several other manufacturers its not impressive. Triton doesnt have much longer and with the massive decrease in Ranger Boat sales word is they could be next.
The lot at the Cabelas near Ft Worth had at least two dozen Z520R and Z521R boats all listed between $95-110k. It's not too surprising Ranger's aren't selling when they are so expensive with these interest rates.

Now that's a boat. Crossing fingers I get mine tomorrow. It's a 2016 19trx but it's what I can afford and it's a TRITON🤙
Nice walk around DC! Been in sales for 26 years and that was great!!
Love the green paint scheme!
Love the compartment by the trolling motor
My Tr-196 still running strong.

Yeah those switches look cutting edge
Great looking rig ! They have hit it out of the park with new design changes. The layout is awesome!
That is a sharp looking boat
Great looking boat. I like the day box feature and the layout
I wish they would get rid of carpet in the rod locker boxes
I know that white river marine owns nitro ranger and triton but I feel like this is like a fancy nitro z20 it’s basically the same exact boat
As a previous 21X HP owner, have they addressed the chine walk with the HP hull? Loved my performance but man she would dance above 67 mph
Nice Rig,but all I want is a spotlock trolling motor.😂

Looks like the old tr20/21 x boats, which is a good thing😊
Slick rig!
90k boat with $4.99 rod straps.
That's the only thing they did wrong with this boat.
I think that is just an option.

It's actually 69k lol😊
Love the green
Used to own a 19PD , loved it but it did draw alot of water ! Kept me from getting into skinny water !
I want one in this color with a brand new Toyota tundra 1794 in army green to match wow would that be a nice set up
Triton and nitro looking alike

When ur tr21 was built it was built in Ashland city and back then we made some Damm good boats but now days it's just an over priced nitro very sad
To bad Triton is owned by Bass Pro. That makes them a no go for me.
Sorry Dustin it's not a Earl Bentz boat, I'll keep my 2001 TR 20

Looks like a 2018 V 20 legend
I definitely see it in the layout, not so much overall looks tho
who makes the trailer?
They are custom-made at the White River Marine Group Ozark, MO plant.
@@tritonboatsdotcom so ranger farms theirs out but triton make their own??? strange, thanks
We apologize, Mike. EZ Loader does make the Triton trailers. We apologize again for the misunderstanding, and we thank you for asking.
Bungee cords for the rod tie downs? Do better

@@Irishmule169 retractable tie down are the best
I still can't understand why they would use the cheap, rubber rod straps on their top of the line rig??🤷♂️
So they made a Nitro?
NO GAS STRUT'S ON LID'S.????????....."C'MON-MAAAN"
I see them in the video.
@@Bogeypro256 oh really...
Didn't
yall shoulda re done the walleye boats. more "normal" guys are going to buy walleye boats with a family than a bass boat built for pros and the top 1%
Bad a- ride
That is a pos nitro come get you a caymas
Looking more and more like a NITRO. Wouldn't own any White River products...
