I really liked the story and the way you explain. I have similar mindset/thinking. From my personal experience, this works for normal people and really improve the relationship but should not be applied for special cases as it backfires severly as it lead to getting addicted to alcohol,cigarttes.drugs and bad behavior. Just mentioning it as precaution and not to discourage this mindset.
