This is an amazing movie. I haven’t had this experience in a romantic sense, but I had a friend who was like heathcliff. I felt like she was my friend soulmate. We needed each other and missed each other so much. But it also meant fights. I still need and miss her.
Before my "civilising", I was much like Cathy. I would drag a chair out to the meadow at night, even in the midst of a blizzard, just to be able to breathe in that wild air.
