- Bruce Charlton has written some of the most vital reflections on the cultural and spiritual significance of the Inklings, so I was delighted when he accepted my offer to interview him. I am very pleased with the result.

I find Keri's naturally unique vocal delivery to be very appealing - it's his USP! So, in contrast, I'd say: Don't Change A Thing Keri!
I do speak quite quietly, I adjusted the levels a bit but I often extract the audio and adjust the volume and I didn't this time. I did spend a little time seeing if you could adjust sections of volume in the youtube editor, if you can I couldn't figure out how.

Thank you Francis, I’m very pleased to hear that. It’s funny isn’t it? I too have not seen any interviews with Bruce, I just thought to ask and he accepted. The unsung hero in the story is Bruce’s son who sorted out the technical difficulties without his expertise and persistence the interview wouldn’t have happened. I’m delighted to have it on my channel and I have watched it quite a few times already, it’s a good little encapsulation of Bruce’s thought on the inklings and Romantic Christianity.
When I read Barfield I felt that he was a thinker whose ideas had not been engaged with and yet who had things to say that engaged with underlying problems with modern culture and consciousness, I thought it worthwhile to do what i could, I’m really pleased you found it helpful.
