This game is just to test the VR waters. Rather than invest a lot of money into a whole new game, they're taking existing code and slapping a VR interface onto it to save money. Then when people don't buy it because they played the original already, they blame it on VR being unpopular and not on the fact that people want something new.
@@BerryTheBnnuy that was actually very well said, and actually gave a very valid reason as to why VR was not up to everyone standards. Plus Grounding Inc didn’t really have the skills that United game artists had when they made the last two games. I kinda cooked up my own fan made game on my Wattpad with 2 different endings. Surprisingly version, one of that has the most reads, even though I rewrote it twice. version 2 I took great pride in it. Not to toot my own horn Though we got Tom Clarke Hill reprising the role as Jaguar so that’s at least something to be proud of.
i honestly like that they kept a lot of the jank like in the animations. the people teleporting and just sliding across the ground at times is just part of the space channel 5 experience
We are getting more dlc soon. Hopefully they're pretty cheap and help make the game worth it. The first dlc includes hatsune miku, but the release date isn't yet confirmed.
At least we got Miku added to the game later on as part of a DLC mission, though I genuinely wish she was featured in the base game like Space Michael was in the original Space Channel 5 and Part 2. 😭
Well they couldn’t make this game more than 30 minutes because any longer than that the player will experience the negative side effects of playing VR for long. And with the music going in your ears as you are in discomfort is not that all pleasing. Though I will say the models could have been worked on a lot more because when you rip them from the game and into another software, the fingers are not curved all the way, some of them lack actual facial features and they are not good for proper movement like walking or running around. When I tried to use Jaguar in MMD, his fingers were still a bit squared up and his shoulders were slumped down a bit when I loaded him up, and that’s when I noticed that his shoulders are pushed up in game, which looks uncomfortable. Those are the cons of the models, But I was able to move his glasses down to his face. And that just made him 20 times cooler. The sunglasses were a good idea
Always love to see VR playthroughs where the player has a sense of how to "play along" (reaching out to Ulala and the "Oh, me?" Motion during the credits), really enhances the video. Great work!
It’s short, but so were the previous installments. I wish there would be a cinematic mode where I can see cool angles of everything that’s happening though. Previous games were so memorable because each stage was its own music video really.
Ikr. Space Channel 5 will never be the same without Space Michael, the fact he loved this series the most and choosed to be a part of it out of all video game series in the World made Space Channel 5 special, it's a shame he isn't among us anymore to see Ulala's return.
While you may be sad that this isn’t longer, at least we can look forward to more games with these new models. Everyone finally has individual fingers!
The reason why is because VR cannot be longer than 30 minutes. If they made this game a lot longer than we would get all these negative side-effects: Headaches Tiredness Eye strain Neck pain Shoulder pain. I would not want to have a headache, and then just have Ulala staring at me as I’m in pain.
True, I'm fine with the new voice actress but I'll miss Apollo so bad, I liked that Apollo didn't voice many character because it made Ulala's voice more unique.

A few of those depictions are a bit wrong. Ulala is Japanese descent. You were right about Pudding, Pine is from Eastern Venus sector, and everything else on your comment you are correct.
The rest of the players who played this said otherwise. All I have to say is stop hating on Cheremi for this. She was just doing what she was told to do. Voice actors actually work a day and night just so that these characters can come to life. I don’t me to nitpick her anything but I feel like people are hating on her for too long after this came out. Now personally I think Cheremi Leigh did an amazing job, she gave Ulala a little bit of Sailor Venus in there. And that just made her awesome
I was really happy to hear that this was coming out, since I grew up on this game..but then I heard the singing and oh boy. Half of it isn't even singing and the parts that are sounds to be off beat. The only good things I can comment on is the instrumental being pretty nice, the villain still keeping that (sort of) flamboyant feel and old characters making somewhat of a comeback. But, still. There's a lot of things that make this just not as good as I would imagine. Like, Jaguars intro is messed up! How do you mess up Jaguar's intro?! :( Besides that, it's still nice to see some new material. I really missed this game and for a while thought that Part 2 was the end of it. So despite all of the nitpicking, I still appreciate this games existence
Probably you only played the first part of Space Channel 5, as there has been released a second one on Dreamcast back then (Japan only). Second one has singing already in.
Well Cheremi (aka Ulala’s voice actor) does actually have proper singing pipes in there. I wish they could’ve done a little bit more with her. But Tom… ehhh… he does not… he’s got no rhythm and that’s what pushes it out of proportion. Also someone’s the Jaguar’s new shoes look orthopaedic and it does look like Jaguar has broken his back, at least at some point. TBH I wouldn’t even be surprised if he officially did.
It looks really cool, but I think that it needs a couple more stages. The ending feels a bit rushed and the stages are really short. A lot more could've been done with Jaguar and the end of report 3. Maybe Space Michael and Ulala disappear and you have to team up with Jaguar and Pudding to investigate what's going on?
The reason why they made it so easy is that so that us the players could enter and participate. Also how the hell did Jaguar not die from the ship getting blasted? It’s literally like Fuse in Part 2 all over again.
You know for a new game, they could focus on the newer characters by starting it on a report on how all the original reporters were missing (including Ulala) and maybe have some of the old villains come back for their revenge like Blank and Purge, and the new main villain could be a female named I dunno, Mirage?
One thing that I love about this game is the gameplay mixed with the voice actors. E.g. Mr. Gentle (the announcer if you want to say it like that) is voiced by the same VA who voices Albert Wesker and Ulala's VA is also present in Fire Emblem Three Houses, Persona and Nier (Rhea, Makoto Niijima, A2), same goes for Kell's VA (Sothis, Morgana). And Bello's VA voices Yae Miko (Genshin) and Leonie from Three Houses. Another fun fact: Jaguar is voiced by the announcer from Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed (which is the game why I even know Ulala and Space Channel 5 in the first place) I can't help but imagine Ulala, Bello, etc. replaced with the other characters because of how random it would be

And the villain should've got even more development cause tbh they feel way too underdeveloped. Also what happened to Fuse he has no personality whereas he was pretty enthusiastic in the previous 2 games.

There’s supposedly a new game being made according to some leaks but I can’t find them anywhere so I don’t know. They pretty much made this series like a Guinea pig but I think this answered Sega’s question on this series still being relevant
With Sega wanting to revive old franchises (SC5 was listed) I am hoping we get a true sequel to pt 2. This has some cute ideas, but I really would love a fleshed out game that is NOT tied to VR 😭💖
Omg I want to cry, this gives me so much nostalgia. I loved the game so much, I played it over and over again and got all the secrets and rhythm 100% correct. This looks amazing, but I would also love for them to make a the usual controller mode. 😭

To be honest I really wish the animation for Ulala was more expressive and everything, I’m sure it has something to do with them making it like the original game, back then it was understandable she was pretty stiff in face animations and everything because of limited technology, but nowadays I mean, that’s no excuse for it to look this cheap like back then, they can do so much more with her character and give her more of a personality and character animating her if they actually tried with today’s technology, I guess you can see it a bit, improved, but it’s very limited), they really should of put more effort into animating Ulala having more of a personality and expressions instead of this blank stare with really no emotion like the original… Hatsune Miku is in this game and she literally has more character, personality and expressions than Ulala… Not sure if it’s because she’s newer or what, but Ulala could of had that much effort much like her… Still impressive this is somewhat a comeback for her though!
I watched this this morning, and my cat actually watched with me up until the barrier parts of Report 2, and I was like, wow, guess my cat likes Space Channel 5 too I guess
Excellent game play, somedays I like not hearing commentary when watching someone play. And now I am gonna comment on the game itself... and it feels.... lazy. The Best part was the dance at the end ( I would love to learn it.) But I will give more detail below (I stumbled on the existence of this game on Pinterest about an hour ago and then found game play. Also I had just watched gameplay of one and two for a few days because I missed it so some of my ideas/opinions stemmed from comparing those two as well.) Sorry if it is long and kinda ranty So I would have been okay with Ulala getting a new voice actor though I do miss the old voice. Personally not a fan of this being VR (why even have a character model we won't see 99% of the game. ) There are plenty of impersonators out there who could do Space Michael, but I'm not sure if it would feel right to do that since his passing. And considering the gogo-esque theme presented (although futuristic) it may be a broken crutch considering how recycled the music is. Not that didn't recycle some stuff between the first and second game, but this was just so in your face it's heart breaking. Having DLCs isn't the worst, but I think they would have been fun add ons after a longer game with a bigger plot than Glitter. And maybe with exploration into different musical Genres (there is plenty of room.) Back to the Characters.... Are the Jaguars... his sisters or did they actually just Take over and Jaguar is doing his own theme. It feels odd to just have them thrown in there for the throw-back nature of this game. There is not even vague implications as to how the dynamic works outside of being Space Pirates. I know it sounds like I am whining (and there is nostalgia bias, but also.... FNF and its mods blow this out of the water considering most of it collaborative efforts amongst various artists, musicians and programmers not a large company.) Just so much wasted potential here. They could have taken time to redo models (more up to date without being hyper realistic.) Ulala could have taken on a more Senior role along side Fuze and then could have had a new intern or new face or even have save Ulala almost the same way we had to save Jaguar in part two, just using her Moxie as a catalyst. I'm even with they idea other being a tutor for new reporters for Space Chanel 5. The idea is cute, I don't even mind the pose being a function considering it would be an extra button. If it were to be any more Over the Top the dances could change to match the music theme (like the waltz battle) and even differ depending on how many times a directional button like with Evila in the first game. Maybe this is all out of budget but considering the game industry and most just about everyone tacking on DLCs (or episodes in some cases.) I'm sure fans of the game would have appreciated getting a more thought out full game. And then could pick and choose dlc content at their leisure that are a quarter to half the length of the game. But also, I can only imagine how much it would cost to have Michael Jackson in the game with voice acting, even if it was fun. I don't know who could have replaced him entirely if they didn't want an impersonator (or weren't okay with doing so.) TLDR Sega put themselves in a space bubble and gave us crumbs starved of oxygen. The good parts do not outweigh the good unfortunately
Yes, you are whining. Space Michael being there is a no-go because they would have to get permission from the Michael Jackson estate and from the family and it would be a full out legal battle so they didn’t even try. Secondly there’s a Hatsune Miku dlc that you can buy as well as a hard mode update. Third, The Jaguars are NOT Jaguar’s sister’s, they work alongside Jaguar and he sees them as his equals. We even have bios, the wiki fandom page can answer most of your burning questions about those three girls. Fourthly, the game is made from a company that doesn’t have the skills like United game artists hard when they made the first and second game, there was not a lot they could do with their hands tied, the game was supposed to come out around 2017. It didn’t happen. They planned in 2019, but they delayed it, and then 2020 we get it and we are damn lucky that it didn’t get pushed back even more because of the global pandemic that happened in 2020. Most projects at the time was shut down. Some came out a year later, and some never saw the light of Day ever. Lastly, Sega didn’t even lift a finger to help Grounding Inc to put this game together, they just slapped their name on there, and we didn’t get any behind-the-scenes stuff from Sega, Grounding did most of the work and provided all the answers to the boiling questions that have happened for so many years. The ending was very thought out, more thought out, then you would think, there was storyboards, there was scripts, there is a lot of work into this VR game then you would think. I know because I’ve dug deep long enough. I know it may seem like I’m whining back, but you gotta understand how these developers feel that they spent so long on this game, only to have people berate them and crush it and it will make them feel like they can’t do anything related to this game ever again because of fear that we will hate it. As a Space Channel 5 fan (I even printed a Space Pirate shirt), this saddens me, I mean, it's a nice video, but the gameplay is no different than those silly motion control dance games for the Wii or Kinect, you're just stuck in one place, never moving, and at first I thought they missed a chance by not letting you customize your character, but it's pointless if you never see it, no cutscenes no nothing. I did like the new Jaguars characters at least, not so sure about Ulala's yellow suit, tho.

Painfully underwhelming and short... They recycled music and forgot some things like space michael, and the acting/singing is somehow even more awkward than before... But, I can't really be that upset... I'm just thankful that they remembered Ulala and space channel 5.
I don’t see Michael Jackson’s estate giving them clearance to use his likeness. They even made Plants vs Zombies remove the Thriller zombies from the game.
Wow, that was short. This is a lot slower-paced than the first 2, and there isn't nearly as much variety in the speed of the dance beats. But, I'm not surprised. Very, very few people (probably no one) would be fast and agile enough to keep up with the dance moves in the Dreamcast/PS2 titles. You'd practically have to be moving at light speed at times. LOL Space Channel 5 as a VR game is an interesting test, but I think it works better as a controller title.
I know this was 3 years ago but apparently if you miss the 3 Chus at the end against Glitter the characters will say no way and the screen will flash black and white and freeze. Somebody try it
I know I'm a couple months late to the party, but I decided to watch a playthrough of this game tonight and I have to admit that I'm disappointed that this is the installment we get after waiting and hoping for so long. I feel like this game spends too much of it's already short duration trying to appeal to nostalgia. The first and third reports were basically more watered down versions of the ones in the first game while the final report is basically a rip-off of the sixth report in Part 2 (It uses the same music for the last half or so and the whole energy channeling bit is pretty much identical. If someone wants I can post the two in a reply so y'all can compare them.) Even a lot of the music is the same, with most of the soundtrack being made of very light remixes of old themes. Reusing ideas from previous installments isn't inherently wrong- hell, Part 2 used a lot of similar concepts from the first game if you start comparing the two- but this game does it so much that it never develops an identity of its own. It might've been able to do that if it stopped trying to recreate the old games and tried to introduce or invent something new, but the closest we get to that is the second report, which isn't much for a whole game to ride off of. It also needed more development in the story department, since a lot of things aren't really explained. What exactly is Glitter? What's Groove Moxie? How did Glitter make the Other-Moros? Who are The Jaguars? What was the thing controlling Space Diva Glitter? How did she end up controlled in the first place? None of these questions are really answered, which hinders the game from making people invested in it. I have a bunch of minor issues like some of the voices, lack of the general aesthetic from the old games, the singing segments (That one's a big problem for me since I love the lyrics from Part 2, but it's not relevant right now.), some of the models, and the complete lack of difficulty, but those are all just little things that help drag the game down a little more. All in all, it seems to be a lackluster game and should've had more time in the oven and more oversight. Or it should've just been made into an actual installment, which would've been much preferred.

As nice as it woudl be to see a part three... I hope if they do get back to a more button oriented one (because you have to compensate for movement) that the Jaguars return. They take you on three to two.
@@StarrySkykes Well I myself wrote my own fan made SCH5 Pt 3 and Jaguar does get kinda possessed back into Shadow with a redesign and I wrote down that you can have a choice to either rescue him or not in report 6. The title is called Back in The Spotlight. I also wrote a remastered version with Purge teaming up with a new villain that I created. I want to know what the majority would be on choosing to rescue Jaguar or not?
I like to see this game as a test, To see if people are still interested in SC5, I think that this game is a telltale sign that SC5 is very much still a thing.
Well now we’re getting a movie alongside comix zone. What the story is a bit ridiculous and not like the game whatsoever, so nobody wants it. And someone actually took the concept into a an AI generated a whole trailer, and it was absolutely horrible. If AI can generate that, then the series is practically doomed. Edit: Everybody! They do have a viewing mode, which only gives you only 3 views, top, left and right, which you will see a AI bot of you dancing.
Space Channel 5 was one hour long and Space Channel 5 Part 2 was 1.5 hours long.
This was 30 minutes.

All I have to say is stop hating on Cheremi for this. She was just doing what she was told to do. Voice actors actually work a day and night just so that these characters can come to life. I don’t me to nitpick her anything but I feel like people are hating on her for too long after this came out.
Now personally I think Cheremi Leigh did an amazing job, she gave Ulala a little bit of Sailor Venus in there. And that just made her awesome

I was really happy to hear that this was coming out, since I grew up on this game..but then I heard the singing and oh boy. Half of it isn't even singing and the parts that are sounds to be off beat. The only good things I can comment on is the instrumental being pretty nice, the villain still keeping that (sort of) flamboyant feel and old characters making somewhat of a comeback. But, still. There's a lot of things that make this just not as good as I would imagine. Like, Jaguars intro is messed up! How do you mess up Jaguar's intro?! :( Besides that, it's still nice to see some new material. I really missed this game and for a while thought that Part 2 was the end of it. So despite all of the nitpicking, I still appreciate this games existence
Probably you only played the first part of Space Channel 5, as there has been released a second one on Dreamcast back then (Japan only). Second one has singing already in.

Well Cheremi (aka Ulala’s voice actor) does actually have proper singing pipes in there. I wish they could’ve done a little bit more with her. But Tom… ehhh… he does not… he’s got no rhythm and that’s what pushes it out of proportion.
Also someone’s the Jaguar’s new shoes look orthopaedic and it does look like Jaguar has broken his back, at least at some point. TBH I wouldn’t even be surprised if he officially did.
It looks really cool, but I think that it needs a couple more stages. The ending feels a bit rushed and the stages are really short. A lot more could've been done with Jaguar and the end of report 3. Maybe Space Michael and Ulala disappear and you have to team up with Jaguar and Pudding to investigate what's going on?

You know for a new game, they could focus on the newer characters by starting it on a report on how all the original reporters were missing (including Ulala) and maybe have some of the old villains come back for their revenge like Blank and Purge, and the new main villain could be a female named I dunno, Mirage?
One thing that I love about this game is the gameplay mixed with the voice actors. E.g. Mr. Gentle (the announcer if you want to say it like that) is voiced by the same VA who voices Albert Wesker and Ulala's VA is also present in Fire Emblem Three Houses, Persona and Nier (Rhea, Makoto Niijima, A2), same goes for Kell's VA (Sothis, Morgana). And Bello's VA voices Yae Miko (Genshin) and Leonie from Three Houses.
Another fun fact: Jaguar is voiced by the announcer from Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed (which is the game why I even know Ulala and Space Channel 5 in the first place)

Damn this looks so cool I loved the series glad to see something, but rip this game is too short I feel like the Jaguars should've got some more screen time. And the villain should've got even more development cause tbh they feel way too underdeveloped.
Also what happened to Fuse he has no personality whereas he was pretty enthusiastic in the previous 2 games.
The new instructor isn't Fuse, he's on vacation according to the credits. The Space Channel 5 wiki says the instructor is an AI named Mr. Gentle.

To be honest I really wish the animation for Ulala was more expressive and everything, I’m sure it has something to do with them making it like the original game, back then it was understandable she was pretty stiff in face animations and everything because of limited technology, but nowadays I mean, that’s no excuse for it to look this cheap like back then, they can do so much more with her character and give her more of a personality and character animating her if they actually tried with today’s technology, I guess you can see it a bit, improved, but it’s very limited), they really should of put more effort into animating Ulala having more of a personality and expressions instead of this blank stare with really no emotion like the original… Hatsune Miku is in this game and she literally has more character, personality and expressions than Ulala… Not sure if it’s because she’s newer or what, but Ulala could of had that much effort much like her… Still impressive this is somewhat a comeback for her though!

Excellent game play, somedays I like not hearing commentary when watching someone play.
And now I am gonna comment on the game itself... and it feels.... lazy. The Best part was the dance at the end ( I would love to learn it.) But I will give more detail below (I stumbled on the existence of this game on Pinterest about an hour ago and then found game play. Also I had just watched gameplay of one and two for a few days because I missed it so some of my ideas/opinions stemmed from comparing those two as well.) Sorry if it is long and kinda ranty
So I would have been okay with Ulala getting a new voice actor though I do miss the old voice.
Personally not a fan of this being VR (why even have a character model we won't see 99% of the game. )
There are plenty of impersonators out there who could do Space Michael, but I'm not sure if it would feel right to do that since his passing. And considering the gogo-esque theme presented (although futuristic) it may be a broken crutch considering how recycled the music is. Not that didn't recycle some stuff between the first and second game, but this was just so in your face it's heart breaking.
Having DLCs isn't the worst, but I think they would have been fun add ons after a longer game with a bigger plot than Glitter. And maybe with exploration into different musical Genres (there is plenty of room.)
Back to the Characters.... Are the Jaguars... his sisters or did they actually just Take over and Jaguar is doing his own theme. It feels odd to just have them thrown in there for the throw-back nature of this game. There is not even vague implications as to how the dynamic works outside of being Space Pirates.
I know it sounds like I am whining (and there is nostalgia bias, but also.... FNF and its mods blow this out of the water considering most of it collaborative efforts amongst various artists, musicians and programmers not a large company.)
Just so much wasted potential here. They could have taken time to redo models (more up to date without being hyper realistic.) Ulala could have taken on a more Senior role along side Fuze and then could have had a new intern or new face or even have save Ulala almost the same way we had to save Jaguar in part two, just using her Moxie as a catalyst. I'm even with they idea other being a tutor for new reporters for Space Chanel 5. The idea is cute, I don't even mind the pose being a function considering it would be an extra button.
If it were to be any more Over the Top the dances could change to match the music theme (like the waltz battle) and even differ depending on how many times a directional button like with Evila in the first game.
Maybe this is all out of budget but considering the game industry and most just about everyone tacking on DLCs (or episodes in some cases.) I'm sure fans of the game would have appreciated getting a more thought out full game. And then could pick and choose dlc content at their leisure that are a quarter to half the length of the game. But also, I can only imagine how much it would cost to have Michael Jackson in the game with voice acting, even if it was fun. I don't know who could have replaced him entirely if they didn't want an impersonator (or weren't okay with doing so.)

Sega put themselves in a space bubble and gave us crumbs starved of oxygen.

Yes, you are whining. Space Michael being there is a no-go because they would have to get permission from the Michael Jackson estate and from the family and it would be a full out legal battle so they didn’t even try.
Secondly there’s a Hatsune Miku dlc that you can buy as well as a hard mode update.
Third, The Jaguars are NOT Jaguar’s sister’s, they work alongside Jaguar and he sees them as his equals. We even have bios, the wiki fandom page can answer most of your burning questions about those three girls.
Fourthly, the game is made from a company that doesn’t have the skills like United game artists hard when they made the first and second game, there was not a lot they could do with their hands tied, the game was supposed to come out around 2017. It didn’t happen. They planned in 2019, but they delayed it, and then 2020 we get it and we are damn lucky that it didn’t get pushed back even more because of the global pandemic that happened in 2020. Most projects at the time was shut down. Some came out a year later, and some never saw the light of Day ever.
Lastly, Sega didn’t even lift a finger to help Grounding Inc to put this game together, they just slapped their name on there, and we didn’t get any behind-the-scenes stuff from Sega, Grounding did most of the work and provided all the answers to the boiling questions that have happened for so many years. The ending was very thought out, more thought out, then you would think, there was storyboards, there was scripts, there is a lot of work into this VR game then you would think. I know because I’ve dug deep long enough.
I know it may seem like I’m whining back, but you gotta understand how these developers feel that they spent so long on this game, only to have people berate them and crush it and it will make them feel like they can’t do anything related to this game ever again because of fear that we will hate it.

As a Space Channel 5 fan (I even printed a Space Pirate shirt), this saddens me, I mean, it's a nice video, but the gameplay is no different than those silly motion control dance games for the Wii or Kinect, you're just stuck in one place, never moving, and at first I thought they missed a chance by not letting you customize your character, but it's pointless if you never see it, no cutscenes no nothing.
I did like the new Jaguars characters at least, not so sure about Ulala's yellow suit, tho.
I think character customization woud've been a cool gimmick for this too

Wow, that was short. This is a lot slower-paced than the first 2, and there isn't nearly as much variety in the speed of the dance beats.
But, I'm not surprised. Very, very few people (probably no one) would be fast and agile enough to keep up with the dance moves in the Dreamcast/PS2 titles. You'd practically have to be moving at light speed at times. LOL
Space Channel 5 as a VR game is an interesting test, but I think it works better as a controller title.

I know I'm a couple months late to the party, but I decided to watch a playthrough of this game tonight and I have to admit that I'm disappointed that this is the installment we get after waiting and hoping for so long. I feel like this game spends too much of it's already short duration trying to appeal to nostalgia. The first and third reports were basically more watered down versions of the ones in the first game while the final report is basically a rip-off of the sixth report in Part 2 (It uses the same music for the last half or so and the whole energy channeling bit is pretty much identical. If someone wants I can post the two in a reply so y'all can compare them.) Even a lot of the music is the same, with most of the soundtrack being made of very light remixes of old themes.
Reusing ideas from previous installments isn't inherently wrong- hell, Part 2 used a lot of similar concepts from the first game if you start comparing the two- but this game does it so much that it never develops an identity of its own. It might've been able to do that if it stopped trying to recreate the old games and tried to introduce or invent something new, but the closest we get to that is the second report, which isn't much for a whole game to ride off of.
It also needed more development in the story department, since a lot of things aren't really explained. What exactly is Glitter? What's Groove Moxie? How did Glitter make the Other-Moros? Who are The Jaguars? What was the thing controlling Space Diva Glitter? How did she end up controlled in the first place? None of these questions are really answered, which hinders the game from making people invested in it.
I have a bunch of minor issues like some of the voices, lack of the general aesthetic from the old games, the singing segments (That one's a big problem for me since I love the lyrics from Part 2, but it's not relevant right now.), some of the models, and the complete lack of difficulty, but those are all just little things that help drag the game down a little more.
All in all, it seems to be a lackluster game and should've had more time in the oven and more oversight. Or it should've just been made into an actual installment, which would've been much preferred.

@@StarrySkykes Well I myself wrote my own fan made SCH5 Pt 3 and Jaguar does get kinda possessed back into Shadow with a redesign and I wrote down that you can have a choice to either rescue him or not in report 6.

What the story is a bit ridiculous and not like the game whatsoever, so nobody wants it. And someone actually took the concept into a an AI generated a whole trailer, and it was absolutely horrible. If AI can generate that, then the series is practically doomed.
