Generalist loadouts are pretty good in the early game. I think as you progress they become less and less usable. End game the only generalist loadout I use are rush loadouts to quickly clear easy stages
Let‘s See… I don’t have a dedicated generalist slot, but my go-to‘s for unknown stages are as follows: obliterator diabolosa and manic flying for the attack up and because obliterator diabolosa has good targets that are relevant in many late-game stages. I also most often have manic eraser with either manic Mohawk or normal eraser as meatshields, (brainwashed)macho legs for swarm and strong mid ranger dps support, and balrog is my big uber for most lineups. Then bullet train for the money and rushing capability, and some two or three cats I feel like using that day. Can be any rarity or class, really. Though recently I’ve been using dalisan and phono in most decks for my UL progression. They just make it so damn easy!
1:31 I’ve got True nyosaka nanaho ( probably spelt that wrong) in my general loadout Becuse they’ve got high hp a survive decent damage and not bad range the crits are just kinda a extra bonus

Nanaho W, she's absurdly versatile. Part of my growing strange loadout. You should try getting slime cat early. Literally no reason not to have slime now that the true form exists.
It’s kinda funny how jelly dumpling cat is so awesome but you can get him in like the span of an hour because of how easy all 3 stages are and the fact that the 1st revenge stage instantly lets you get him to lvl 30 and the awakening stage can just be cheesed by rushing the boss and base
closest thing i have to a generalist loadout is my "Treasure" loadout which has lion cat, crazed giraffe, greater demon cat, yukimura (for rushing), and a bunch of other random ubers because why not. obviously, it's for getting through stages fast for treasures. Other than that, I only use specific trait loadouts like red, black, floating, aliens, or a cross between two of them.
My general loadout is: Manic eraser - at lvl 40 he’s usually more than enough for a spammable meatshield, specially since I’m also using Ramen. Ramen - while manic eraser and Roe are fast, Ramen is slower and can defend himself for stages where you need to stall. Bullet train - normally it’d be Can can, but I find his speed and instant fore swing much nicer to use. Jelly dumpling - great for stalling in stages where many small enemies are constantly sent out, since it dies quickly after shaving down the enemies numbers and is fast and cheap. Courier - LD and also a fast ranged unit. Pizza - while courier is fast and targets far units, pizza is slow and targets units right in front of him to cover Courier’s blind spot and also slow enough when I want to stall. Roe - cheap, fast, tanky. Doesn’t deal too much dmg which is good for stalling. Yukimura - he’s cheaper and faster than Bahamut in cd, movement and fore swing. Much more practical and low risk. Izanagi - wave immunity, high single target dmg and has a summon. Sirius - while Izanagi is the wave immune single target dps, Sirius is the CC immune AOE dps.
Epic video! just a lil nitpick I think slime would be a better pick over goemon cat since its wave attacks can reach far and deal loads of damage to pesky backliners and slime just does a bunch of damage in general. In the end it doesn’t matter as I will use bad guys + cheating heart courier spam FOR THE WIN🤑🤑‼️‼️🙏🙏
Nice video! You definitely explained everything very well. Just to put this out there, this seems very early game oriented. The actual theoretical best lineup is: Riceball, Ramen, Cameraman, Balrog, Gravicci, 6th slot could go to a lot of units such as Rock, D’arkt, Ganesha, Anubis, Phono, then the rest of the lineup is Izanagi, Dasli, Dphono, and Lasvoss. If you like, you can replace Riceball, Ramen and Gravicci for Manic Eraser and Jiangshi so you can fit in two of the beforehand mentioned units, but you lose spammability on Cameraman. Obviously this is hard ubercarry but it can beat 99.9% of all stages in the game. Just saying.
🤔 Interesting... You're right by the way about the guide being kinda geared towards newer players, and that's because I want this to be accessible to anyone who plays battle cats. Most aren't in endgame, and most probably don't have those crazy Ubers you've recommended (despite these comments spamming dazli) I'm happy you enjoyed the video though, there'll be more guides and interesting bc videos in the future.
Thank U wise Christian anteater! :D although, I do disagree with some parts such as not using wave attackers, since most of them are already generalists and the only ones that U won't use are the ones who suck (eg. doll cats), also I Mushroom is honestly a pretty good general attacker on par with Kitty of Liberty (which I admittedly underrate), also, also for Golfer Cat, I honestly think Ur better off using M.M.legs or Housewife instead since his inability to hit the frontline while not having that much range just gives him a weakness without a benefit larger that other snipers, and also, also, also for the not using ubers or talented cats since they would eventually become irrelevant, I honestly think that that's not the case since most good talents U would wanna use til endgame (eg. cancan db, cyber slow, balrog strengthen, anubis UT, posiedon sb, housewife sb, fest units, yukimura, ect, AND the ubers that may be less relevant in the future usually get redeemed with UFs/UTs or only fall off due to better alternatives, making limiting yourself in using them not really necessary since a player can always learn from a stage anyways.
Are the two superfest garu’s good tankers because I use them as tankers and to kill peons due to the wave attack but are they worth using (both are level 50)
I have a generalist lineup I made can you rate it please Dual walls and jiangshi: meatsheilds Cameraman: her insane stack ability allows her to go from a decent at best unit into basically a furnace melting enemies she also can crit just in case I find a metal enemy plus is good for floating Crazed whale: he is a good tank cheap low cool-down fast strong and can crit to deal with metals plus is good for red aswell Kasa jizo: same deal as cameraman but is for dark and angels over metals and floaters Liberty: his great burst damage low kb count cheap cost and solid range make him similar to dragon but less money draining Dancer: he is a good nuker with max atk surge and wave immunity he also has a single kb fast cool-down basically a strong liberty but with longer cool-down and area attack Grand tengu: he is an Uber with high damage as much range as c bahamut low cool-down for an Uber with strengthen and wave immunity, he also has a good cost of 3.6 k and is strong against and kbs reds and angels Awakened bahamut: Nuker rusher low cool-down when is A bahamut not great Note throughout the game I save up any duplicate unit I wasn’t using and dumped all my saved np into dancer and had enough for cameraman crit and that’s it
@ so I did some changes after your comment because I found a super backliner that crazed whale can’t deal with so I replaced cameraman with cyberpunk and he is working wonders
I no longer have a generalist loadout because either I use my speedrun loadout to rush easy stages or I need to carefully plan out a stage (generalist loadout isn’t enough anymore)

Possibly? But how common are those stages, and how widely accessible are piercers with 400-500 LD range? Generally that's not necessary and normal LD piercers like housewife are enough

my loadout is can can, courier, bullet train, manju, dual erasers, pizza, thunder jack, housewife, awakened bahamut. i really favor rushers in my playstyle, breakerblast can handle barriers and any metal stage would require a full setup change anyways. so this setup works quite well and has helped me most of the way through UL already. thunder jack may be an uber, but i use him a lot as a second awakened bahamut
10 years off and on, but even off I still liked gacha. Getting back in now that Aku and UL is done, and with some crazy plus levels and alot of cheese on merciless/brutal stages, my generalist lineup is looking a lil different. Will say Liberty is great though. Surprisingly amazing when boosted
It's funny, cuz my Generalist team is basically just Cameraman spam + units that can protect him, like Octopus cat, Greenshell cat or Piccolan Pasalan.
Here's some of the changes i'd make in your generalist loadouts 1st Loadout: -I'd replace goemon with a backliner unit (cyberpunk or urunrun if you have no good ubers), because welll... he's goemon cat, also you have can can cat which does what goemon do anyways -Roe is a solid tank against non-red but without research ehh i'd probably just add a backliner instead, for red you should be fine with courier Note: You can also put can can and dancer in top spot and replace one of your unit for gato amigo for the feel the dance combo which give 10% more hp, so that can be nice 2nd Loadout: -If it's for generalist purpose cyberpunk should be used over sniper the deadeye -If you have jiangshi speed talnet, i'd replace manic mohawk with him for the tiny ancient hunt combo which give +10% attack -Manic Island is pretty meh as a generalist nowadays so i'd go with can can for melee damage instead -Thaumaturge isn't really that good for general purposes, and you lack backliner/sniper damage here so throw in a backliner (if you don't have suitable uber than urunrun) -If you have slime and especially its trueform i'd replace awakened bahamut cat with him too, bullet train is also honestly a better substitute for the most part Overall i think your loadout is aight but for generalist loadout it lacks backliner/sniper damage or just chip damage in general, this can be dangerous for higher ranged threat. Also if you want to see my generalist loadout then here it is (it's mostly for grinding though so it'll be more about speed than good units, if you want loadouts that can beat the most stages i'd suggest shichi7 perfect loadout, the units are very boosted but with lower + level and substitue for meta ubers it can still beat most stages): Riceball + Vigler (for cheating heart combo) + Ramen (he's the best meatshield with cheating hearts) + Richest Cat + Kunio (just to make grinding faster) Can Can Cat (Double Bounty is useful and can can just has goated stats) + Manic Lion Cat (Speedrunning stages) + Cat Researcher (alright midranger dps + critter/shield piercer) + Dark Phono (my main backliner dps) + Yukimura (Rusher, Chipper, Also great for black stages) for harder stages i'd just make its own dedicated loadout and use the copy loadout thing if i want to grind them again
My generalist loadout is: Meat shields: manic mohawk, manic eraser, jiangshi Cheap attackers: courier (for red), seafarer (for alien), pizza (for black) Expensive attackers/ubers: wedding chronos, darkt (sometime switch for ururun or awakened bahamut), dasli, sirius Kinda uber carried, but I mean, if I have them why not use them?
My goto is the bad guys combo for more spammability plus lasvoss, sportswoman combo for more hp and has fishman, and for the second row I bring jianshi, catasaurus, jelly dumpling cyborg and keiji

I always use ubers when i can cuz non uber backliners are so mid at best. Funny thing, it took me over 10 months for an actually ok back liner uber (had dodgeball kunio but he kills himself with his speed 😭, and empress cat but her dps is so sad) And somehow got no ubers for 100 tickets in a row, then boom got izanami
your generalist loadouts max range is only 330. long range enemies like le'boin variants show quite often. so at least 1 legend cat is required or a dragon variant

my general lineup is dual eraser, slime, cancan, catasaurus, pizza, housewife, brainwashed macho legs (this ended up backfiring in ZL because of the plethora of countersurge lol but it has its uses), kitty of liberty (i later replaced this with UT anubis because of barrier breaker, but they’re exchangeable), and finally…max talented ganesha, who when i made this lineup was level 50 but i slowly but surely got him to 60 and got his ultra talents…now i have dasli and dphono lol, got them both a while after making this lineup
My loadout of Dual Eraser, Talented Pizza, an Island (Manic until I got brainwashed for zombies), A Bahamut, Lil Dark Valkyrie, a Kasli (regular for a long time, shet turned to the darkside recently though), and Mitama has served me well for a very long time. As for the missing spots, I used to have Ramen but I found them to be my least used cat in the lineup so I replaced them with Courier once I got him (getting it was surpringly weird after coming back to the game after like 3-4 years.) And the last slot was Mina for the longest time but I recently got Sirius who has been wonderful to use. Yeah I like my Ubers but like, why not use the cool units
For a Generalist loadout, I far rather much use the 1st line for combos. 90% of the levels are far much easier when you start at Worker level 5, and massively overcompensates for any missing unit. But recon to have never considered using Liberty as a Generalist. But then again, I pretty much never need to use the erasers as meatshields, nor dKasli, even though I do have it.

You're right 🤔 didn't think about a single one. I could certainly see some general load outs with research combos and light tankers or speed up combos for wrecking stages quickly. At the end of the day though, like I said in the video... You can make a load out in however way you want 🤷🏿 these are just suggestions, and I never at any point say not to do that, anyone can do it in any way
I feel a better use for the goemon cat would be to use slime cat to clear out quick peons and for the good damage or for malevolent macho legs. I also feel dual erasers is better bc erasers are better for staling and are better in zombie stages. I also think cyber punk takes the place of both omyoji cat and sniper the dead eye better and with those spots u can fit can can and a legend like buhaumat or naala. I also thinks it depends on if you’re speed running easy levels where in that case I would focus on damage up combos and money up Combos
1:48 well...camera is probably the one exception to that. Even with having the same crit chance as islands, her spammability means you're probably gonna get that 1hko crit more often than you think! As for wavers...you missed the obvious slime cat. Arguably the best rare unit with tf, and the easiest (useful) merciless advent unit.

Nice video! You definitely explained everything very well. Just to put this out there, this seems very early game oriented. The actual theoretical best lineup is: Riceball, Ramen, Cameraman, Balrog, Gravicci, 6th slot could go to a lot of units such as Rock, D’arkt, Ganesha, Anubis, Phono, then the rest of the lineup is Izanagi, Dasli, Dphono, and Lasvoss.
If you like, you can replace Riceball, Ramen and Gravicci for Manic Eraser and Jiangshi so you can fit in two of the beforehand mentioned units, but you lose spammability on Cameraman.
Obviously this is hard ubercarry but it can beat 99.9% of all stages in the game. Just saying.

You're right by the way about the guide being kinda geared towards newer players, and that's because I want this to be accessible to anyone who plays battle cats. Most aren't in endgame, and most probably don't have those crazy Ubers you've recommended (despite these comments spamming dazli)

although, I do disagree with some parts such as not using wave attackers, since most of them are already generalists and the only ones that U won't use are the ones who suck (eg. doll cats), also I Mushroom is honestly a pretty good general attacker on par with Kitty of Liberty (which I admittedly underrate), also, also for Golfer Cat, I honestly think Ur better off using M.M.legs or Housewife instead since his inability to hit the frontline while not having that much range just gives him a weakness without a benefit larger that other snipers, and also, also, also for the not using ubers or talented cats since they would eventually become irrelevant, I honestly think that that's not the case since most good talents U would wanna use til endgame (eg. cancan db, cyber slow, balrog strengthen, anubis UT, posiedon sb, housewife sb, fest units, yukimura, ect, AND the ubers that may be less relevant in the future usually get redeemed with UFs/UTs or only fall off due to better alternatives, making limiting yourself in using them not really necessary since a player can always learn from a stage anyways.

I have a generalist lineup I made can you rate it please
Dual walls and jiangshi: meatsheilds
Cameraman: her insane stack ability allows her to go from a decent at best unit into basically a furnace melting enemies she also can crit just in case I find a metal enemy plus is good for floating
Crazed whale: he is a good tank cheap low cool-down fast strong and can crit to deal with metals plus is good for red aswell
Kasa jizo: same deal as cameraman but is for dark and angels over metals and floaters
Liberty: his great burst damage low kb count cheap cost and solid range make him similar to dragon but less money draining
Dancer: he is a good nuker with max atk surge and wave immunity he also has a single kb fast cool-down basically a strong liberty but with longer cool-down and area attack
Grand tengu: he is an Uber with high damage as much range as c bahamut low cool-down for an Uber with strengthen and wave immunity, he also has a good cost of 3.6 k and is strong against and kbs reds and angels
Awakened bahamut: Nuker rusher low cool-down when is A bahamut not great
Note throughout the game I save up any duplicate unit I wasn’t using and dumped all my saved np into dancer and had enough for cameraman crit and that’s it
Looks pretty decent, it's just that I feel like this loadout would struggle against super backliners

@ so I did some changes after your comment because I found a super backliner that crazed whale can’t deal with so I replaced cameraman with cyberpunk and he is working wonders
I no longer have a generalist loadout because either I use my speedrun loadout to rush easy stages or I need to carefully plan out a stage (generalist loadout isn’t enough anymore)
Sometimes it's just like that, lol.
It's the same for me, just general load outs have helped me so much in the past that I was like... "Why not make a video for people who might need them?"
And most of those people are early game folks. 🤷🏿

Possibly? But how common are those stages, and how widely accessible are piercers with 400-500 LD range? Generally that's not necessary and normal LD piercers like housewife are enough

my loadout is can can, courier, bullet train, manju, dual erasers, pizza, thunder jack, housewife, awakened bahamut. i really favor rushers in my playstyle, breakerblast can handle barriers and any metal stage would require a full setup change anyways. so this setup works quite well and has helped me most of the way through UL already.
thunder jack may be an uber, but i use him a lot as a second awakened bahamut
this lineup is very versatile, switching just 1 unit is enough for 90% of stages
slime or btrain def big for me agreed, esp with slime tf being even more versatile
10 years off and on, but even off I still liked gacha. Getting back in now that Aku and UL is done, and with some crazy plus levels and alot of cheese on merciless/brutal stages, my generalist lineup is looking a lil different. Will say Liberty is great though. Surprisingly amazing when boosted

It's funny, cuz my Generalist team is basically just Cameraman spam + units that can protect him, like Octopus cat, Greenshell cat or Piccolan Pasalan.
Here's some of the changes i'd make in your generalist loadouts
1st Loadout:
-I'd replace goemon with a backliner unit (cyberpunk or urunrun if you have no good ubers), because welll... he's goemon cat, also you have can can cat which does what goemon do anyways
-Roe is a solid tank against non-red but without research ehh i'd probably just add a backliner instead, for red you should be fine with courier
Note: You can also put can can and dancer in top spot and replace one of your unit for gato amigo for the feel the dance combo which give 10% more hp, so that can be nice
2nd Loadout:
-If it's for generalist purpose cyberpunk should be used over sniper the deadeye
-If you have jiangshi speed talnet, i'd replace manic mohawk with him for the tiny ancient hunt combo which give +10% attack
-Manic Island is pretty meh as a generalist nowadays so i'd go with can can for melee damage instead
-Thaumaturge isn't really that good for general purposes, and you lack backliner/sniper damage here so throw in a backliner (if you don't have suitable uber than urunrun)
-If you have slime and especially its trueform i'd replace awakened bahamut cat with him too, bullet train is also honestly a better substitute for the most part
Overall i think your loadout is aight but for generalist loadout it lacks backliner/sniper damage or just chip damage in general, this can be dangerous for higher ranged threat. Also if you want to see my generalist loadout then here it is (it's mostly for grinding though so it'll be more about speed than good units, if you want loadouts that can beat the most stages i'd suggest shichi7 perfect loadout, the units are very boosted but with lower + level and substitue for meta ubers it can still beat most stages):
Riceball + Vigler (for cheating heart combo) + Ramen (he's the best meatshield with cheating hearts) + Richest Cat + Kunio (just to make grinding faster)
Can Can Cat (Double Bounty is useful and can can just has goated stats) + Manic Lion Cat (Speedrunning stages) + Cat Researcher (alright midranger dps + critter/shield piercer) + Dark Phono (my main backliner dps) + Yukimura (Rusher, Chipper, Also great for black stages)
for harder stages i'd just make its own dedicated loadout and use the copy loadout thing if i want to grind them again

My generalist loadout is:
Meat shields: manic mohawk, manic eraser, jiangshi
Cheap attackers: courier (for red), seafarer (for alien), pizza (for black)
Expensive attackers/ubers: wedding chronos, darkt (sometime switch for ururun or awakened bahamut), dasli, sirius
Kinda uber carried, but I mean, if I have them why not use them?
My goto is the bad guys combo for more spammability plus lasvoss, sportswoman combo for more hp and has fishman, and for the second row I bring jianshi, catasaurus, jelly dumpling cyborg and keiji
my current generalist lineup:
dual erasers, slime, cameraman, can can, courier, pizza, lil king dragon, abahamut/yukimura and dark phono
I do bring catasaurus in my general loadout for the research up combo with lil macho

I always use ubers when i can cuz non uber backliners are so mid at best. Funny thing, it took me over 10 months for an actually ok back liner uber (had dodgeball kunio but he kills himself with his speed 😭, and empress cat but her dps is so sad)
And somehow got no ubers for 100 tickets in a row, then boom got izanami
Kinda sad bc izanami has terrible general DPS

your generalist loadouts max range is only 330. long range enemies like le'boin variants show quite often. so at least 1 legend cat is required or a dragon variant

My loadout of Dual Eraser, Talented Pizza, an Island (Manic until I got brainwashed for zombies), A Bahamut, Lil Dark Valkyrie, a Kasli (regular for a long time, shet turned to the darkside recently though), and Mitama has served me well for a very long time. As for the missing spots, I used to have Ramen but I found them to be my least used cat in the lineup so I replaced them with Courier once I got him (getting it was surpringly weird after coming back to the game after like 3-4 years.) And the last slot was Mina for the longest time but I recently got Sirius who has been wonderful to use. Yeah I like my Ubers but like, why not use the cool units

For a Generalist loadout, I far rather much use the 1st line for combos.
90% of the levels are far much easier when you start at Worker level 5, and massively overcompensates for any missing unit.
But recon to have never considered using Liberty as a Generalist. But then again, I pretty much never need to use the erasers as meatshields, nor dKasli, even though I do have it.

You're right 🤔 didn't think about a single one.
I could certainly see some general load outs with research combos and light tankers or speed up combos for wrecking stages quickly.
At the end of the day though, like I said in the video... You can make a load out in however way you want 🤷🏿 these are just suggestions, and I never at any point say not to do that, anyone can do it in any way
My main deck has like 4 Ubers and all of them work amazingly for general stages, they are balrog, Kasli, mitama, and Mighty garu

I feel a better use for the goemon cat would be to use slime cat to clear out quick peons and for the good damage or for malevolent macho legs. I also feel dual erasers is better bc erasers are better for staling and are better in zombie stages. I also think cyber punk takes the place of both omyoji cat and sniper the dead eye better and with those spots u can fit can can and a legend like buhaumat or naala. I also thinks it depends on if you’re speed running easy levels where in that case I would focus on damage up combos and money up

Even with having the same crit chance as islands, her spammability means you're probably gonna get that 1hko crit more often than you think!
As for wavers...you missed the obvious slime cat. Arguably the best rare unit with tf, and the easiest (useful) merciless advent unit.

i made the decision to go into ZL blind, and made a generalist loadout…i put ganesha in it lol and i bruteforced many stages…also my catasaurus is mega buffed lmao
my lvl 60 dasli and lvl 60+1 dphono with only manic eraser works just fine as a generalist loadout
I just use Kaoluga and pray that the knockback procs when I need it (and king mola cause he’s my only other good uber lol)
