Thank God for Fr. James Martin, who continually calls us to friendship with Christ through prayer. He’s also written beautifully about humor and about Jesus, who is both fully divine and human. His charity toward those are hateful and behave in an unchristian manner is an inspiration. We all should be so generous in our engagement with others!

Will, Marty is probably an active gay person, and cannot defend the position, because there is no defense of being an active gay in God's law. The punishment is too severe according to scripture, but Marty wants to live by Fr. James Martin's book that is a contradiction to scripture.

Im getting into this guy now. I had my conservative reservations and still do. But we need people like him. Hes good at making the faith more accessible to the common man. Almost a Jordan Peterson type for Catholics. in a different way of course. Peterson tends to not be a stand up comedian.

Yes, Father Martin is a marvelous representative of a fully engaged priest teaching the mystery of our Christian faith. His Jesuit training has served him well, just as it has for Pope Francis.

Jordan Peterson has principles that he adheres to. Fr. Martin, who professes to be a Catholic, does not adhere to the teachings of the faith he claims.
