I was really looking forward to the new heel, since the heel of the current Testarossa is the worst sh*t anyone has ever done to a climbing shoe! 3 times too big (high volume), thin, soft, slippery rubber! This seems to be better. When i look at the photos, the heel seems as big as the old one unfortunately. Also what the guy in the video said about the heel, "wider"... i thought nooooooo, that's the place where nearly every shoe has too much dead space! And they make it even bigger??? Another shoe, probably the best climbing shoe what stepping is concerned, done (for me). Why not doing a heel with the volume of the Cobra heel, but fully rubber, like the Python or Skwama? Just copy the heel of the Skwama Women's and everyting is fine (for me of course).
I normally don't care too much, but they really blew the design on this one. The current Testarossa looks really stylish, while this new version just looks tacky and cheap.

Cool shoe, but the price tag is massive in my opinion.
Luckily I got a pair of the old Model in sale...
It was my favorite shoes! Worried a lot when they upgrade this one!!!!!
how does it perform on vertical climbing? I really like this shoes but I do not climb overhangs for now
Its amazing all around, i use them for a year now
How’s sizing compared to the old testarossa?
That's a good question. I think the only way to find out is waiting until they're released, unfortunately.
Thanks for the clarification, Jakob!
I’m curious if they added their P3 tech to this shoe or not? Didn’t seen any logos on the side and no mention in the video
Jacob Gaylord this is their top of the line model, it has their most sophisticated tech in it.
The original Testarossa was the first shoe to have P3
