I have loved BB ever since the very first TSM Legends that he was in all those years ago. Bjerg and BB big brother little brother dynamic was so good.
at 59:30 I don't think it's completely caps fault, he was trying to get mid wave to prevent the counterplay which was likely mid turret if T1 decided to go for it. G2 just needed to be on the same page and help him get the wave in.
They did pretty well though, 4th place is great

Ngl, at this point, there is just hope fatigue for the west particularly with g2, they're like the biggest cocktease when it comes to internationals, they will give you the biggest hope by going toe to toe with asians teams and they suddenly burst that hope by losing to one sidedly. Like its fcking exhausting.

Yeah, you can say that TES got embarrassed more than G2 but they also have more to be proud of than G2.
Up until that TES - G2 series, JackeyLove and Meiko were the best botlane at MSI and JackeyLove was arguably the best player at MSI.
They also took 2 games off of GenG.
The only reason TES getting 3-0ed by G2 is so embarrassing is bc TES did show in that very tournament that, if they perform, _they_ should be the ones 3-0ing G2.
The fact that their showing at MSI leaves that impression shows, it's not all bad.
Imagine G2 had the performance and run that TES had. Do you know how much G2/EU fans would gas up the close series against GenG and how hard the botlane stomped MSI (until they ran it 4fun4)? I mean...we're getting hyped over losing 2-3 to T1 when Faker was paid to run it down mid on repeat. Their 2-3 vs GenG was literally the "more impressive loss" and series over all. No question.

Right, up to a point. It's a necessity to take some time away from playing during your schedule. Like days on, days off in some time frame, because your subconscious needs time to consolidate all the memories and sensations of playing and synthesize new behaviors/improvements, and you have to put less demand on your brain for this to happen because you have limited resources.
It's why cramming over 24 hours with no sleep doesnt help people on tests at all. The memories are all disparate, discrete things, whereas if you learn over time and take breaks you get a more cohesive, comprehensive understanding that you dont have to actively think about.

I think if Faker wasn't Faker, people wouldn't put him on the spotlight that much when he's doing well or poorly, because when I watch other players underperform, people don't slander them as much and will make excuses. People will say he's not the goat anymore but will still criticize him like he is the goat. Nothing was more disgusting than watching the LPL players last year at worlds, but people don't talk about how bad they played as much.

Regarding the LODR thing. PD is what I see as an item that kinda scks on its own, but you just can't do without. Especially the MS to reposition and kite is more important. BT is a dueling item great for 1 v 1's and in small skirmishes but kinda scks compared to the rest. So for early sustain vamp scepter will do its not worth delaying IE/PD/LODR those are the holy trinity.

The finals was incredibly close, a couple things go different and BLG wins, GEN is the best team in the world right now but the difference isn’t as big as everyone makes it out to be

G2's performance was way over expectations. And if they performed similarly at Worlds this year, we would probably say the same about their performance then.
But the truth is: T1 played like shit. _Both_ times. They just didn't look as bad in the second Bo5 bc G2 played much worse.
Also, beating TES (and beating a top LPL team in a Bo5!) sounds and is great. But let's not pretend like TES didn't just straight up run it down.
Up until that point, Jackey+Meiko were inarguably the best botlane at MSI and Jackey was arguably the best performing player full stop. And then they completely ran it.
It's nice that G2 placed well but at this point we're just at the mercy of top Estern teams massively underperforming and if they don't, even G2 is just screwed. Nothing they showed suggests otherwise.
So in that sense...there isn't really any hope. At least not more hope than before MSI.

To me, game 2 of the 2nd T1 series, even if they clear that top wave T1 is in an incredibly winning position in the game and that one is probably a loss. Game 3 was the actual throw.

G2's biggest issue is they play above their level when facing tougher competition; they need to be playing at that level consistently. They should be absolutely dominating every series 3 - 0 in LEC.
Imo some games they have to int to play from behind . In LPL or LCK top teams don’t always win early game but they smurf in fights something that 2019 G2 was really good at . That’s the practice being able to recognize how to play fights mid to late game and wins games thanks to that . G2 early is already really good but they will never win those fights against teams that will perform at 100% because they experienced and won countles of those team fight positions

I have a theory why G2 swept TES and struggled against T1.TES is all crazy play + full mechanics and G2 is probably the best team in that type of play.T1 ,GenG and BLG is more methodical ,pushing small advantages and suffocating your opponents style of play and T1 didnt forced G2 to play their style of game in the quarter-finals.G2 needs to learn to adapt to this controlled style of play,not lose their proficiency on the crazy style playing game but learn to slow down and not fall behind against these teams.
I can do about 40 good pushups before I'm completely gassed. Hard to do that many and I work out a lot 😞

G2 giveth, G2 taketh. Its maddening watching them be *SO* competitive with t1 the first time; then they just absolutely rip apart TES; like it was unreal. Then ... they throw away everything ... they throw their draft, they throw their play style, they play poorly on the day and then it all combines to just be such a lack luster performance.
Fun fact. BB has a ZERO PERCENT WINRATE on jax internationally. ZERO. He has NEVER won a game internationally on jax. So then we put him on jax ... twice. Him overperforming against weak opponents regionally does not make him a world class jax player. The game 5 Belveth pick was unbelievable hubris. That game 1 draft on the last series was sooo abysmal lol.
Its just wild seeing them make these mistakes. They clearly are capable; they clearly have the talent. Its just so confusing where the decision making is breaking down.

A lot of what you've said is true. But BB was also way worse, he also lost to to a fucking Sejuani as Fiora.
But he's had so much lane coaching, 1v1 practice, he's clearly improved a lot and maybe in scrims he's actually winning matchups he used to lose. But because in the past he's always lost you tell g2, don't ever pick it even though the reason they are even doing this good is because they've improved.
Did you ever thought that all these excuses you are making for g2 could also be made for tes who underperform severely in their 0-3 series. G2 had 2 pretty good games vs t1 even in their 3-0 that I think had they played better slightly mid to late, could have have been winnable. It not fucking draft fault caps got hit by a hook in mid lane and they lost control of the game completely. G2 had their bread and butter vs t1 cause t1 decided to give them Tristana with ivern and they still goof up. This was the best meta possible for western team with laneswap and g2 and yet they still struggle to beat a super out of form faker t1.

To be fair 2019 was pre soul era right? Game was way more flexible then, u didnt uave to perma group to fight for soul. I think game back then was much more macro intensive tham rn with forcing drakes

50 push ups is easy in one go. If you're consistent in the gym, you should be able to do 50+ within 2 minutes easy. You might start to slow down at like 42 but you can keep going. I imagine you won't start getting muscle failure until 70-80 without rest.
Depends on weight bro. Muscle mass is less of an issue. Somebody can be a fit 200-220 but push-ups will be harder for them then someone who is just as fit but weighs 140-160

Regardless, I was talking about Dom doing 50. He doesn't exactly row for UC Davis so I don't think he should have a problem if he's actually consistent. 50 in 1 go is just muscle stamina at his size.

Last year they cold beat LPL/LCK 4th seed now they have to reach T1 level consistently for worlds . If G2 makes semis for me they had a great year overall . If they make quarters they did their job less is a disaster more is overperforming
