Hi Robbie, I have a B450 Roadless and am gradually going through it and generally giving it a birthday. What thickness paper did you use on the gasket for the thermostat housing? Does it even matter too much? Also any ideas where to get a replacement thermostat. Someone has removed it in the past. Didn't seem to hurt from not having one. Can't find anything to match in terms of part numbers, supersessions or temp range. Loving the videos. Very jealous of the B1-42 plough. Would love one of them!

Not sure on paper thickness just grabbed whatever father had lying around, I’ve been using John at repair & maintenance but I’m finding certain bits are hard to get hold of. Plough was nice find I believe they do a B1-52 aswell which would sit nice behind your roadless.

Is it definitely a B450 in which case this was a British built machine. I think they made 2 types of starter motor the C.A.V one not made any more and the other is unknown to me. However they have a very similar styling to the older Farmall M’s and feature the same bd-264 engine used in many of the British built IH tractors. I don’t know how similar the the cog teeth would be between the 2 country’s.
