  • After scoring just 0.5 point in last 3 rounds and losing to Nakamura and Caruana, Praggnanandhaa was not in his best form for the last round of the FIDE Candidates 2024. But look at his will to win! He plays the King's Indian Defence against Nijat Abasov and gives it his all. Check out the game with the commentary by IM Sagar Shah.

    Good Evening Sir,
I am writing this mail to point out how your unwavering efforts have encouraged chess between many souls.
This is from my personal experience. Yesterday only I went to attend a wedding. So then I was taking my food I noticed that a waiter while he was serving us food with one hand and with other he was playing chess on mobile placed beside the vessel.
Thats ridiculous!!! I seriously got goosebumps. That's the fruit of all your efforts .
    Thankyou
    Chess Fan

Unlike Gukesh the child in Pragg is still active.. swinging in the chair, loose body posture and look at the end what he was doing just before handshake 🤩😘

I encourage everyone to watch the trailer of the Bengali movie “Dabaru”which is based on the life of Surya Sekhar Ganguly. This is the first ever Indian movie on chess.

Once I heard magnus calling king's indian as a crawp defense. I think in the past it was widely used and popularized by garry Kasparov. Also i see that not Many GM s today play the kings indian.

King's Indian gives a better position to white objectively. Even in this game you can see in the opening that white was better but Nijat couldn't use it to his advantage. Unless black is extremely well prepared, white will always get an advantage in King's Indian

That pawn capture instead of queen capture was not a good move.
