What a huge task this is! As an 🇺🇸I enjoy these videos. To see every magnificent horse is a treat for the eyes. The horses must be happy to be out of the trailer especially if they had a long drive.
I am so impressed with the horses. They are the best. In the 1980s i read where QE2 demanded that no horse was to be forced into submission. The were to be trained gently and respected. It shows that the horses are not stressed.
I am 74 years of age, live in the US. My dream to someday, someday see this live. Will have to wait after I retire! Bless The King's Guard, the magnificent horses, the beautiful tradition!
I've just retired at 69 but am no longer able to travel long distances due to oxygen needs. Do it while you can. No one knows what tomorrow will bring.
@@capablemaria they can kick or stand on themselves which is more to the point. In our Oakley Box there were heavy rubber panels on the bottom of each partition which helped to avoid injuries between horses.
These horses would love to have a good canter after travelling. I hope they have a spacious ménage and l am sure they have plenty of care and attention. I know the reality in looking after horses and it is a lot of dedication .❤❤❤

After returning from Vietnam, I was sent to Germany. I had the privilege to work with The Royal Horse Artillery. True Warrior Men and Women. They were so Proud The Queen of England Called Them Gentilmen One and All. If you ever get the chance to watch these professionals tear down the howitzer to scale a wall, then reassemble those guns after scaling the wall, go to the next and repeat assembling those Tubes was a Privilege to watch. And this was as other gun sections competing for the # 1 gun battery. Truly an Amazing Contest to Watch!🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Beautiful horses. I really would like to see what’s on the bottom floor of the barracks. I’ve seen regiments and bands and miscellaneous groups march in and out and now horses are going down in there. I know the general public can’t see for security reasons but I’m curious
Hi. Some horses lean back and rub on their tail inside the trailer. So that protects the tail. No particular reason that it’s red. 😊. Other horses have different colours.
They usually wear a red ribbon tied in a bow if they are prone to kick. But a tail bandage stops any tail rubbing. The travel boots stop injureries in the box while in transit.
I love the artillery men and women riding their horses such beautiful sight. Thank you bless everyone.
Those horses are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO beautiful !!!!!! You're so lucky to work with those horses 😕🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 xxx

Great to see that they’re still using Oakley Boxes, the best deserve the best and the safest.

What beautiful horses.............And see no chains.....
What a spectacular experience … such exquisite horses with their noble steeds.
Horses with their steeds? Very clever animals! LOL.
😂 😂
Love the leg warmers ❤😊
Pretty sure I read somewhere, they are to protect their legs when travelling as they can kick each other in close proximity.

Wow!!! They have an Overo!! That’s amazing.

Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery based at Woolwich .
First time to see horses wearing knee high boots 😍
They are leg protectors.

@ Yes. Or Velcro leg wraps.
Horses arriving in stylish transport. Some size those horse boxes
Yep, Oakley Horse Boxes, the best!

its just a carpark, part of it is turned into temporary stabling for the horses when they stay there
@@matrixmarvel2989 thanks for the info
Did you count how many horses they delivered?😊❤
I bet the horses are glad to be able to stretch their legs after being in those horse trailers. 🐴❤
They are quite used to travelling. They have only come from Woolwich.
Why are some of the horses wearing red on their tails ?

@LynnL3588 thank you
Had a pony that if you walked behind her she kicked , so always had a red bow on her tail.!😅

Thank you all for your information , clears up the confusion for me. Especially the red bow!
